Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Moch ends up a late first rounder or even early 20's after all is said and done. 4.2 40 at LB in today's NFL will be too much to pass up.

    • I'm really starting to hop on the Julio Jones bandwagon, he is everything we need in a #1 WR opposite of Armstrong with Moss in the slot. I think we can get a starting DE/NT/or OLB in the 2nd round, the 2nd round receivers like Baldwin don't do much for me.

      • I've been on Julio's bandwagon since he was at Foley :). I'd love for him to be a Skin.

Completely agree, Julio @ 10 and maybe Wisienewski or Pouncey in the 2nd?

          • I don't think any Skins fan could be upset if we landed Julio. He has one of the highest ceilings out of anybody in this draft.

IMO although interior O-line is one of my top priorities I doubt we go interior line high in the draft. Shanny seemst to love Rabach for god knows why, so I definitely see Rabach being back given his experience. They also seem high on Litchenstieger who is horrendous and they also like Montgomery and Hicks. Mike Williams could be back as well. As I see it I don't see us going O-line until late in the draft like Shanny normally does or more likely UDFA or Free Agency. I am definitely looking defense in the 2nd round if we take a WR or QB with the first pick. Our 2nd round pick is an interesting spot for Powe or Taylor, I kind of like what I saw in Bryant though and there are always viable options for a NT in free agency. DE is definitely my preference and I do see one of those first round graded 5 techs dropping to us. Other positions to consider is OLB and FS. Definitely have my eye on Rahim Moore, Houston, and Moch. Also high on Mason Foster on the inside.

                • not a fan of julio that high. reminds me of an old terrell owens. makes some really nice catches but then the simple routes like outs and comebacks he'll drop.

                  RIP, Sean Taylor.

I'll take Terrell Owens with the 10th pick are you serious? And he is a way better red-zone threat than T.O., dude's vert is disgusting...

                    • Carlos Rogers won't be a Redskin next year. Neither will Rocky McIntosh.

I won't be shocked if they make a run at Asomugha, because even at 30, he's still as good as ever, and Charles Woodson is still elite at 34 years old.

Don't be surprised if they sign Lamarr Woodley in free agency to fill a big gap at OLB. Having a connection with Lou Spanos doesn't hurt.

Shanahan is enamored with Locker, so I won't be surprised if they draft him at 10 if he's available, which I'm sure he will be. If Shanahan drafts him, I'm convinced it will be a good pick because Shanahan's always made QBs decent. However, I'm almost certain they won't go QB that high unless one of the QBs blows them away.

If I was the GM, I would trade down from 10 with New England (if they want a player that high) and pick up an additional 2nd round pick. With the pick acquired from New England, draft Stephen Paea to man the nose, since nose is one of, if not THE most important position in the 3-4. Paea is a BEAST.

With the second 2nd round pick, I'd go with either Rahim Moore to sure up the free safety spot since I don't believe Kareem Moore can tackle to save his life, or draft Leonard Hankerson to give whomever the QB is a big wideout. I think Hankerson has the potential to be a top 3 receiver in this class. Even with a shaky QB situation at Miami, he still put up solid numbers.

I LOVE the depth at OLB in this class. If by any chance Mason Foster is there in the 4th round, I'd snatch him to play opposite Orakpo.

If that were to happen (long shot), the Redskins would have their franchise LT and QB in back to back drafts, plus a beast at nose, and a compliment to Orakpo that is desperately needed if Woodley isn't signed in free agency.

Chances of us going QB first round are very slim, so I expect us to go OL, DL, LB, or WR.

If that's the case, and we stay at 10, here's who I'd want:

OL - Tyron Smith (although I don't think we should go OL this high)
                      DL - Marcell Dareus/Cameron Heyward
LB - Robert Quinn, Aldon Smith
                      WR - Julio Jones

Out of all of those, I'd want them in this order:

                      Jones-Quinn-Smith-Dareus-Heyward

I'm on the fence with Smith because I think he's the best OT in this draft, although he's a RT. I'm concerned that if we re-sign Jammal Brown, he might not stay healthy, so if we do go with Smith, we'd have bookend tackles for the next 5-7 years a la Samuels-Jansen.

                      • Why do you think Woodley or Aso would even consider signing with our attrocious roster. They can get just as much money with any team in the league. Anyways Aso saw what it was like playing with Dhall he is never going back to that. Definitely think Hall is jealous of him I remember him saying last year that Carlos is the first time in his career he has played opposite of a real corner, lol the guy is dilusional.

                          1. Woodley has experience and his best two years with LB coach Lou Spanos. Plus, if he wins the Super Bowl again this year, he might look for a change of scenery like a lot of players tend to do when they win. I think Haslett could do wonders with Woodley. I love Lorenzo, but Lamarr would be a huge upgrade. He might like the chance to be the "star" of this defense. Never know.

                          2. Nnamdi's never had anything negative about DeAngelo. In fact, Nnamdi was upset when Oakland released him two years ago. DeAngelo didn't fit the defensive scheme in Oakland. You don't fit the system, you're not going to play very well.

And I've never heard Hall say anything like that?

How pissed will you guys be if Skins take him 10th overall?

                            • Jake Locker is the only QB I'd be comfortable drafting to be honest. If he raises his stock to be worthy of the 10th pick, so be it. Definitely don't want to have him start his rookie season though if we drafted him.

I wouldn't trust him, by far had the most horrendous season out of the big 4 and save a few games has been overhyped his whole career. He's a strong kid with a good arm. That's it. Bad accuracy, bad mechanics. Looks to run way too early. I feel like the only thing that saves him is the perception that he had nothing to work with in college so it saves him from criticism. Unless he blows it up at the senior bowl I wouldn't touch him with the first 25 picks. Every QB in this draft has major questions and high bust capability but to me Locker has the most questions of any of the big 3 QB's.
