      Deal between Chicago and Portland:

      Portland Receives:
Kirk Hinrich- Makes $10,000,000 in 2008/2009
      #39

      Chicago Receives:
      Raef LaFrentz- Expiring $12,722,500
      #13

Problems sorted out: It doesn't work in trade machines because of an early termination clause in Raef's contract, but if not excercised (which I'm not doing), he works as a tradeable player. Chicago has the cap room to make up the over $2 million dollar difference.

Another great trade. I like how teams are being careful with their trades.

          there has been a trade.

          Houston receives:

          Jarron Collins
          44th overall pick
          53 overall pick

          Utah receives:
          Luther Head PG SG

          D-Unit ok'd it.

Reasons: Utah needs another deep sniper who can handle the ball. D-Will played with him in college and already has a trust factor with him. He can give him a breather. I slightly overpaid with both second rounders and using my one trade up but I felt it better to get a guy I like and know I can use rather than wait for someone to offer for Kirilenko.
          Bears fan

Whitney Mercilus will be a better and more productive player than Shea McClellin

This was stolen, and I appreciate it.

Sign and trade between the Cavs and Wizards:

Gilbert Arenas is signed to a 5 year, 65 million dollar contract.

            Gilbert Arenas (13,000,000)
            Etan Thomas (6,373,900)
            Darius Songaila (3,942,000)

            total: 23,315,900

            Daniel Gibson (3,000,000)
            Sasha Pavlovic (4,250,000)
            Damon Jones (4,172,432)
            Joe Smith (5,205,000)
            Anderson Varejao (5,356,000)
            Pick 19
Cedric Simmons trade exception (1.6 million)

            total: 23,583,432

            Reasoning:

The Cavs finally get a legit second scorer.

The Wiz might have lost him for nothing. The get rid of two horrible contracts and pick up two expirings in return. The Wiz also get three important bench pieces in Pavlovic, Gibson and Varejao. I think the Wiz are better off without Arenas and in a couple years when Nick Young emerges as a star and their key players will be in their prime they will be better off without Gilbert. The trade will for sure look like eth Cavs win by a lot but I believe that I the Wiz will be better because of this trade.

Trade is Pending. Daniel Gibson is a RFA. He is currently fielding offers. If he can't get an offer better than this, in 1 day, then this deal will pass.

This trade works. Kind of a risky proposition for Seattle, but I think it works well for both teams.

Trade looks good. Should make for an interesting draft.

I love all the trades so far. It's amazing how good a mock draft can be when people put extra care into trades.

LAC gets - Tj Ford (8 mil) Barbosa (6 mil) Nesterovic (8 mil) Kurt Thomas trade exemption (8 mil), #15, #17

Phoenix gets - Corey Maggette ( 4/48 mil, 12 per,) Brevin Knight (2 mil)

Toronto gets - Elton Brand (16 mil)

Trade looks good. But I hate it because I wanted Maggette. :(

Rejected: This deal does not pass. Daniel Gibson was signed to a new contract prior to this deal and therefore must abide by the Trade Restriction rule. Cleveland was too quick to sign him.

                            FA Signing:
                            Daniel Gibson Restricted FA
                            NBA Team: Cavaliers

Reason why he'd sign with you versus any other team: He's a fan favorite and a favorite of LeBrons. Will always have playing time as he is the best shooter on the team.
