With the 3rd overall pick in the NBA draft the Portland Trailblazers select:

        Mike Conley Jr.
Reasoning: Mike Conley Jr. who I compare to Tony Parker is the final piece in the Blazers run and gun offense. With Conley, Roy, Rashard Lewis, Josh Smith, and Lamarcus Aldridge very few are as athletic and talented as them. With veteran leadership backing them up this is a dangerous team. Conley though does have competition with Sergio Rodriguez who the Blazers believe has superstar written all over him. Speed Claxton is there to provide a veteran presense should both of them falter.

With the 4th pick of the draft, the Memphis Grizzle select PF Al Horford.

Horford completes our starting line up. The choice was easy. He's just another example of the toughness we've focused on getting this offseason. His game also compliments Gasol perfectly. With Marcus Williams running the point and Gerald Wallace and RudyGay terrorizing the wings, Al Horford and Pau Gasol will form a highly skilled powerful force down low.

Continuing the youth movement the Celtics select:

Brandan Wright, even though I wanted Noah here.

With the 7th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, The Washington Wizards select...

                PF Yi Jianlian

REASON: I am thrilled to have pulled this trade off, I initially had my eyes on trading up to get a prospect lower on my big board but when I saw this oppurtunity to trade up I couldnt miss out. Yi's offensive skill set and versatality will fit into our starting line up right away.

Told me yesterday he wants him, so with the 10th pick overall the Milwaukee Bucks select:

                      Derrick Byars

                        Minnesota Selects:

SF/PF, Al Thornton, explanation later. Much better than the overrated Julian Wright he is a beast, and his 45 points in that game last year was no fluke.

76ers select Spencer Hawes C Washington

Not the sexiest pick, but we are in dire need for a center, Hawes falls right to our laps so why not take him. We almost couldnt resist a guy like Julian Wright or Nick Young but in the end u have to do whats best for your team.

                            New Orleans Hornets select...

                            SF Thaddeus Young

One of the top potential guys in this draft. With the aquisition of Paul Pierce, Thad will have the ability to learn from him. Thad and Paul have very similar games and I think that could be the best situation for Thad. As for Thad he has the potential to be an all star player in this league. Thad is an explosive player who needs to tigthen up his game on both ends of the court, this is where playing under Paul for a few years will help.
