I never got into that cartoon. But anyway, I think it would atleast be cool to see Dev Patel perform his own stunts because, he is a real black belt. I dont plan on ever seeing it, though. But I'd take a gander if it was on HBO. The lead kid they have is supposed to be some amazing martial artist as well.

IMO, M. Night has really been on a steady decline since The Sixth Sense, which is obviously his best. Signs was pretty good, but that was probably the last "good" movie he did. Agreed that The Village was good for a little bit, but once the secret about the "monsters" was revealed, I turned it off. It could have been a lot better. That was the last attempt I made at seeing a Shyamalan film.

Outside of the Sixth Sense and Unbreakable...all his movies are terrible, imo. Signs is indeed terribly overrated, imo as well. It doesnt make a lick of sense and Mel Gibson...bleh.
The Happening should have marked the end of his career.

The Village was soooooooooo bad. I'm surprised there are so many that actually liked it.

While we're on the subject...has anyone heard that he is making Unbreakable 2? I hold a soft spot for Unbreakable so, I dont think it's a horrible idea. Can you imagine if he takes it to the point where an even older Bruce Willis is wearing a super hero type get up and becomes that hero he could have always been? haha. That'd be crazy. Not necessarily good, but yeah.Last edited by M.O.T.H.; 06-29-2009, 10:02 PM.

I liked The Village simply because of the ending. Instead of pandering to the audience and giving them what they wanted, which is big woodsy CGI monsters, he stuck to his guns and gave them an ending which showed that humans, not monsters, are the bad ones here. Or that humans are monsters. Whichever way you choose to look at it. Im a sucker for endings which say **** you to the audience.
Signs sucks. But Unbreakable is highly underrated, and while slow, is a cool hero movie in its own right.Originally posted by Mr. GoosemahnThe APS is strong in this one.Originally posted by killxswitchTears for Fears is better than whatever it is you happen to be thinking about right now.

yeah, bryce dallas howard made that movie. that movie had a lot of hype when it came out I remember, and I wasn't as disappointed as others.
Signs is cool b/c it's an alien invasion movie from the point of view of only a small family in the middle of Pennsylvania instead of taking the Independence Day or War or Worlds broad approach. What's her name from Little Miss Sunshine was in that too.
His first two were liked a lot b/c he had freakin' Bruce Willis. Bruce Willis owns.
