While we are on this subject, what are your favorite vampire movies?

Mine personal favorite is "John Carpenter's Vampires".

    • The Lost Boys and From Dusk till Dawn, for sure.

Nosferatu, and Shadow of the Vampire to go with it, are very good.

And Buffy! Maybe even Once Bitten. Twilight wishes it had that type of teen angst.

30 Days of Night was enjoyable.

edit - And Monster Squad, if that counts. Which it does, because it's the greatest movie ever.

      • Last night partial movie watching:

My Cousin Vinny: Pesci went from a foul mouthed, tough as nails mobster to a foul mouthed, tough as nails trial attorney. Damn I love his acting, even though its the same character in every movie. And it had the Karate Kid!

Fight Club: I have to rewatch this movie, its been such a long time since I saw all of it. Ed Norton is fricking phenomenal in it.

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest: The fight scene on top of the wheel was just amazing. Depp definitely knows how to play a pirate. Good story. Another movie I have to rewatch, well rewatch all 3 of them

        • The best vampire movie is no doubt Interview with the Vampire.

            • I like watching the old Bela Lugosi Dracula movie with the Phillip Glass film score that was put in in the late 90s. Nice new touch to an already classic old movie. That really puts into perspective how important the music in a movie is.

                          • I liked Blade 2 better to be honest. I am sure nostalgia plays a part in that though.

I loved Blade 2 as well. I just threw up that picture because it was the first one that came up when I googled Blade. I like the whole trilogy, even though the 3rd one is pretty bad. 1 and 2 are both awesome though. I may watch one tonight actually.
