    • Roger Ebert's review of Sex and the City 2 is hilarious. I thought he was washed up, but the man still has "it."

Some of these people make my skin crawl. The characters of "Sex and the City 2" are flyweight bubbleheads living in a world which rarely requires three sentences in a row. Their defining quality is consuming things. They gobble food, fashion, houses, husbands, children, vitamins and freebies.

      ...

Carrie narrates the film, providing useful guidelines for those challenged by its intricacies. Sample: "Later that day, Big and I arrived home."

      ...

Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) is still a ****.

I haven't seen it yet myself but I've been hearing everything from hilarious to awful.

Oh really. I saw it coming 10 minutes into the movie.

Meh, it's sort of like watching Sherlock Holmes pretend he's Batman for an hour and a half, but it's at least an spectacle and moderately entertaining.

                            • I watched Fanboys yesterday. I think I share the majority opnion and thought it was just okay. It had some moments, but it just seemed like a waste of talent more than anything. This movie is sporting quite the comedic cast and they didnt come close to realizing the potential of that group.

                              Thanks BoneKrusher^

                              • Interesting news. James McAvoy has been cast as Charles Xavier in Mathew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class. While I think the whole film itself is dumb and they have royally destroyed the Xmen Franchise, thats a very interesting choice.
