I'm going to agree with this. We should have a poll between the two.

I hope so, I've only seen No Country and it wasnt as brilliant as people make it out to be, imo.

          • I really think you cannot compare the two so closely. they are totally different types of movies and they were both brilliant in different ways. I thought There will Be Blood was the more artistically impressive of the two and No Country had the better script and was more entertaing

to say No Country had a better script is hogwash.

Anyone who has seen the Drainage scene alone would agree.

Loved it. Great acting, very good movie.

I also rented Lions for Lambs and There Will Be Blood. :)

                      Is Lions for Lambs good?

Lions for Lambs was directed by Robert Redford...and it's very political...you can almost tell that Redford wants the viewer to think a certain way when it comes to politics in this day...

it was a good movie in whole it was just really annoying how the movie kept driving it's (or Redford's views) at you...Tom Cruise wasn't very good in it but Meryl Streep and Redford were great...

                        • I guess I am one of the first on here to say I thought There Will Be Blood was average. I think it attempted to be great, but in my eyes it was not. There was no central plotline to follow, and even at the end it seems like it could have just started. No resolution to a crisis. Just several events. No significant action. No great twist.

I am not sure why this film was considered so great. The acting was great, the characters were good, and the filming was excellent. But the movie was not.
