ZOMG. IT IZ MY NUMBER ONE FAVORITE FLICK. Oh wait, no it isn't. I appears I did not forget it at all.

As for as No Country goes it is my second favorite fil from last year and I know you loved it Bharaat because it had lots of killing. That said it might sniff the end of my top 100 but more likely it is a top 250 film for me.

          • it seems like pretty much the same thing with less purpose if you ask me. Still wouldn't mind giving it a view though.

              • The Dawn of the Dead I refer to is the original not the remake. It is my favorite horror film of all time and thus it gets a spot on my near misses list as I am a fan of horror films..

                • I see. I like the horror genre, but its really hard to make a good one. I heard 28 days later was a good one recently. But if I want more, I would probably have to look further back.

Im not a huge fan of the horror genre, but 28 Days Later was a fantastic film, horror or otherwise. Cillian Murphy is one of the most underrated actors in hollywood right now.

                    • I didn't like Raging Bull as much as I should have. Still a great movie, and I'm a boxing fan... but for some reason it's not one of my favorites. And No Country for Old Men is very overrated in my book. Above average film, but nothing amazing. Javier Bardem was great though.

Actually I agree with the entirety of this post, glad I am not the only one who felt that way about these films :)

                        • No Country was a terrific movie. I loved it.

I am surprised to see that Taxi Driver is no where on your list, especially with Goodfellas and Raging Bull up there. (directed to Gonzo)

                          • I wouldnt say No Country was overrated. It was a complex film that dealt with alot of things on alot of levels, which made it hard for alot of viewers to compeltely comprehend the film. I know alot of people had complaints about the ending, however i felt it was appropriate. Overrated? No. Should it have won best picture over TWBB? Absolutely not. That said, its still a fantastic movie that everyone should watch.

                            • Like I said, I know i left out some movies. IMO Taxi Driver is the 4th best Scorsese film but would still for sure be around 35-40 on my top 50 list.

So I watched Hancock last night. Maybe it was because I jad such low expectations but I kind of enjoyed the first 30 minutes or so. I thought the film worked pretty well as a comedy. Jason Bateman was great and Will Smith put on a very good performace as Hancock for the first half of the film. When it started becoming a drama however I thought everything went to hell. It started to bore me and I thought the whole history of Hancock was very stupid. I felt the film was not complete **** because of a pretty good first half but the second half was compete garbage and ruined and momentum the film had built up until that point. It was worth what I paid for it, nothing.

                              • yea i really loved the first half until the twist started, then i was like: please get to the action or comedy again.

This movie had alot of potential being a great Comedy/Action movie and they ruined it.
