Fair oints. I am a really big fan of the and everything I have heard from credible sources makes me really excited for the movie. I very well could be let down which would really suck. Say what you will about the past films Snyder has done but it is clear he has talent so I am hoping this is his artistic coming out party.

Magnolia is my favourite movie outside of Fargo.

I've dissected that film like you don't even know

      • After thinking The Rock was a good movie for years I just watched it for the first time in a long time and it is easily one of my least favorite movies now. I hated every minutes of that cliche ridden piece of Michael Bay glory. At least now I know never to subject myself to the movie again.

        • So, was there ever like a Watchmen cartoon or anything? I mean you figure since it was "impossible" to make on the big screen you could have atleast have made it into a cartoon or an animated movie. MTV and USA used to show some raunchy ass and violent cartoons late nights...it would have fit right in. haha. It's just weird that Watchmen isnt more mainstream considering it's been around for so long and is held in such high regard by it's fans.

          • I just watched Zack and Miri. I'm really surprised with a lot of the bad reviews. I absolutely loved it. It gets a little sloppy here or there, no pun intended. I'm talking about the actual structure of the film. It gets a little weird near the end...tries to make the whole porno deal into something a lot more for those involved but, it doesnt really work. But it was still hilarious, imo. The cast was fantastic and although he wasnt in it long, Justin Long, who I normally find boader line annoying, had me cracking up. Mewes and Anderson are always gold, Rogen and Banks had great chemistry, and Robinson is like an adorable teddy bear who likes to say some crazy stuff. haha. He's always the same guy but, he's a funny dude. Great movie.

            Thanks BoneKrusher^

              Sean Connery disagrees.

              • J.J. Abrams said they finally have an idea in place for a Cloverfield sequel. He hopes they can go forward with the project but, nothing is guaranteed yet.

We have an idea for something that's pretty cool that we're playing with. It's something that would be related to 'Cloverfield' and hopefully we'll do something sooner than later, because the idea's pretty sweet."

                  A Sequel? Wasn't Cloverfield a disappointment? I haven't seen it but I heard it wasn't that good.

Cloverfield was actually a great success. It broke box office records for the month of January and the vast majority of people actually liked Cloverfield. It's not for everyone and the story is pretty hokie but, it works, imo. I know a lot of people that didn't like it, though. But again, there are certainly a lot more people that did enjoy it vs those that didnt.

Rotten Tomatoes has it at 76% fresh (72% top critics)

                      IMDB at a 7.5 rating.

Cloverfield is destined to be considered a cult classic in due time.

I'd love a sequel of sorts...it'd be interesting what Abrams could come up with and on a much, much larger budget.

                      • I loved Cloverfield. But half of the fun was the lead up to the movie, so hopefully they'd be able to replicate that as well.

Ignoring all the viral hype, it was a pretty cool movie. It was a lot of fun to watch in the theatre but even just watching it on my computer I get drawn in each time. It's really worth seeing if you have not seen it yet.
