In fact, I dont even know if I would call it horror, as its such an intense, character driven narrative and its about so much more then the vampire story. Ahhh, definitely great, everyone go watch it. I like it more then Pan's Labrynth a few years back, to compare it to another foreign film.
I need to rent this soon. My friend keeps bugging me to see it.

I watched Taken the other night. It was decent. Kind of like a more grown up Transporter/Bourne. Fighting scenes were awesome. Script was overly ridiculous and some of the acting was terrible, but it was a good popcorn movie.

    Synecdoche, New York up next.

      • Wall-E is a great movie, but man does it drag.. Speaking of kid's movies.

I miss the days when Toy Story, Space Jam, and the Emperor's New Groove really did it for me. Oh wait, they still do.

Toy Story 3, plan on seeing that in theaters. Who's coming with? I'll be 22 when it comes out...

        • A sequel to The Hangover. which has been talked about in this thread a few pages back, has already been greenlit because early responses to the movie has been so positive. I am not even more excited to see it.

The Hangover looks awesome. 3 of my fave comedic presences in the same movie. Zach Galifanakas is gold in everything he does, Ed Helms is just straight up hilarious, and Bradley Cooper is awesome in his own right. Defintely super excited for this movie.

            • I just watched Final Destination today. I think it was definitely the best of all the late 90s teen horror/thriller movies.

              • Probably...I cant think of any others that were actually good. This was rated R, though. The majorirty of these movies were PG-13. PG-13 horror movies for the loss.

                  • So Kal Penn is leaving acting to take a job under Obama? That's disappointing from a movie lover's stand point. I love Penn.

                    Harold and Kumar 3. dead.

                    Thanks BoneKrusher^

                    • He's fine in House, but from a movie standpoint? I can only think of horrible, horrible movies that have featured him.

                      • Harold and Kumar and the Namesake are his claim to fame. He was good in both. He didnt choose the best of roles, this is true but, he's still a cool guy and has shown a little acting ability, especially in the Namesake.

                        Thanks BoneKrusher^

                        • I'll never understand why Kal Penn was one of Lex Luthor's cronies in Superman Returns. That movie was soooo bad.

                          • He actually had speaking parts but, Singer cut them all out. That movie was really bad. Superman is in need of another reboot with Batman, Iron Man, and even the Hulk seeing great success.

In other news...the new fantastic four reboot may be ruined already for anyone interested. Vin Diesel wants in. haha.

                            Thanks BoneKrusher^
