Well I guess they broke through eventually. What can you say about Dortmund right now?
Tough to judge them from this game alone, but given how tough it is to play at Allianz Arena, I would think they should be fine down the stretch.
They really need somebody to fill the void left by Lewandowski, and neither Aubameyang or Immobile is that guy imo.
I don't remember the exact numbers, but the danish commentator at one point said, that they where clearly the most ineffective team in the league, meaning they use more chances to score goals than anyone else by a pretty wide margin.
Also, from some of the other games I have seen them in, in the Bundesliga this year, they are struggling when they are the team that needs to take the offensive iniative. They seem to be suited better for a counter-attack style of play, which they have had problems executing, because opposing teams seem to have a more defensive minded gameplan going against BvB, than seen in previous years.
But I think they'll be fine. Klopp is still an excellent coach, and Kagawa have really found himself, after returning from his failed stint wit Manchester United. They should probably try and get a new striker during the winter break, but they are creating chances, they just need to capitalize on them.
Justin Tucker is a better and more productive NFL player than Brandon Graham.
With my low expectations, I would be relatively alright with Beardsley. Club legend, from the North East and has experience with the youngsters. It wouldn't shock me at all if he did better than Pardew and was given the job full-time.
Don't think there's any chance of us going for anyone with a good reputation that's currently in a job. Clearly Ashley doesn't put much value in the job and just wants someone that he can control/won't be absolutely terrible. Can't see him actually paying money to get someone.
Alan Curbishley or Steve Bruce would be my guess. Which would be depressing.
I would be fine with this. He's a ****, but I quite like him (and he did a decent job at Tottenham). Pardew is just a ****.
Sherwood had a good points record, but he plays the most boring football you've ever seen and doesn't have a lot of adaptability. How a team with some beautiful passers of the ball looked so ****** and one-dimensional under him was amazing.
