  • He's still a monster bust for where he was selected. He certainly isn't worth a mention when you are talking about the C's drafting prowess.

Well think about it this way too, with that Clipper deal they became one of the worst teams in the league last year + NBA fix = Anthony Davis.

Not defending Green as a player, but can you be a "Monster" bust if you weren't even picked in the lottery? The NBA draft can be a crap shoot unless you're picking in the top 5-8, and even then it's no guarantee you'll get a serviceable player.

He didn't live up to expectations, but I wouldn't say he ranks up there with Greg Oden or Kwame Brown in bust history. Now those are monster bust.

I though he went higher than he did for some reason. Idk why. I had a brain fart there. I was thinking he got picked 8 instead of 18.

            • I think what has been most impressive about the C's drafting is that almost all of those picks have been mid or late 1st rounders, which as previously stated, are historically a total crapshoot. Not to say Ainge hasn't had he share of blunders, but relative to the league average at those spots he has a really good track record. Let's also not forget Avery Bradley who was picked 19th and looks like he could have a serious future. Glen Davis in the 2nd round was also a nice snag as well as Leon Powe before injuries derailed his career.

              • Wojnarowski: "White has turned down NBA D-League assignments, missed practices and conditioning workouts and tried to convince Rockets officials that his anxiety order would be much, much better if they would simply play him in games. This isn't a negotiation, and never will be."
                LMAO!!!!!!!

Is he seriously trying to troll his way into PT?

Props to fenikz on the awesome sig

                  • So, anxiety just chills if they hand him PT over those that were willing to work for it and actually show up to ******* practice? I respect mental illness and what people go through with it, but at this point he is just using it as a playing card like a twat.

Have it your way, with BK (BoneKrusher)

                    • Not that I don't agree with the general sentiment regarding Royce, but I could see why his anxiety would get better with PT. Not playing definitely would add the stress in his life; playing basketball games is probably one of the few things that doesn't stress him out like crazy.

That should apply to practice too though....

                        • It's a damn shame that arguably the most talented player in this past draft is gonna wash out of the league pretty soon because he's a childish brat. Man the **** up, jesus christ.

Arguably the most talented player? That's still Davis, and it's not even remotely close between the two.

                            • Now he says he is ready to walk away from the NBA.

Houston Rockets rookie Royce White says he is prepared to walk away from the NBA.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN's Colleen Dominguez, White said he was going to meet with general manager Daryl Morey on Monday to discuss his situation with the team.

The Rockets have said they intend to fine White for every day he remains away from the team or does not attend sessions with a therapist arranged by the team. The Houston Chronicle has reported the Rockets have no plans to trade or release White.
Good ******* riddance then. He missed the first week of camp being a cry baby and now he is getting ready to ruin his NBA career over not being able to handle this situation better. He ruined his chance to ever play after his twitter rant and letting the world see how much of a mental case he is. Its a damn shame too cause I was really looking forward to what he could do down the road.

Well atleast the other two first round picks seem to be off to good start. Lamb helped get us Harden and Jones is gonna be the sex once the coaches actually let him play.

                              • They shouldn't even be forced to pay him. Its essentially a holdout. He's basically Carson Palmer.
