      • How come the playing for the olympic team has lost all of its luster??? LeBron doesn't know if he'll play and it shows that it's not a top priority for players to represent their countries.

America no longer has superiority and players are afraid to be on the American team that doesn't win first place. My Dream Olympic team would be this:

          PG: Deron Williams/Chris Paul/Brevin Knight
          SG:Michael Redd/Gerald Wallace/Joe Johnson
          SF:Rashard Lewis/Josh Smith/Caron Butler/Kevin Durant
          PF:Shawn Marion/Chris Bosh/Amare Stoudemire
          C: Dwight Howard/Tyson Chandler/Greg Oden

Durant and Oden to groom for future international play but won't get much playing time, Durant more likely to get time if they need an extra shooter but with Redd, Lewis, and Johnson they are good.

Players want a break from basketball. Guys like LeBron take enough of a beating as it is and more basketball will just add to that.

That would be a good team but i would make Marion a SF because he would rather be. Then I would make my starting SG Arenas if he would even wanna play for USA anymore and my starting PG, Paul though i really like Williams.

Damn...I just realized I'm not even American.

America should put together the best team they can. That will likely be made up of all NBA players. I'm just saying that a lot of players won't want to play because it puts a lot of wear and tear on their bodies and reduces their recovery time.

                    • Heartbreaking loss for Orlando. The Raps seem so untouchable right now, who thinks they can make the Eastern Finals?

                          :)

That without Big Ben, Noce, and Griffin. Also Ben Gordon and Tyrus Thomas weren't feeling well either.

TT and Rip got thrown out. Got a little phsycial on the court between the two so Crawford just tossed both of them.

Hinrich was on fiya (in SVP's voice) tonight. 29 points and 8 dimes. Deng was also a beast with 22. If we can land some kind of big man with the core of guys we have this offseason, I think I'll wet myself. (dreaming of Pau Gasol):D

Our problem is putting 4 consistent quarters together in games. If we can somehow avoid those long droughts where we struggle from the field, I like our chances in the East. Although that's a big "if."

The absolute only way that happens is if they get the three seed, Chicago gets the two seed (no offense Chicago but I think they are an easier matchup than the Cavs), and the winning of the 1-4 matchup is so beat up that they can't compete.

The Raptors are, at best, the 4th best team in the East, and I'd say it's a distance 4th. Winning a playoff series and being competitive in the next would be a great first step, much like the Cavs last year.

Nobody cares about your stupid fantasy team.

I think you're getting ahead of yourself there. Orlando is not very good, D-Unit will even admit that.

If you face Detroit, Cleveland, Miami, or Chicago in a 7 game series, the smart money is that you'd be going home early. The Raps are a good team, but they still aren't in the league of the Central's best, and I think Miami is better than them as well with Wade healthy.

And no offense taken 51. The standings don't lie.
