        • Indian River CC set to face #11 TCU in Sugar Bowl.

While it's not the ideal place for the Lightning to be, they'll settle for the BCS Sugar Bowl. They will be facing the Horned Frogs of TCU. TCU finished the regular season 11-1, undefeated in the Mountain West at 8-0. Their only blunder came in week two, when they lost to Texas by the score of 24-17. They boast one of the best offenses and defenses from a statistical standpoint in the country. Their defense average 15.4 points allowed per game, while their offense averages 35.8 points per game. A difference of 20.4. IRCC is just as impressive, averaging 38.3 while allowing 18.6, a difference of 19.7. TCU is led by RB Aaron Brown. Brown finished the regular season with 1,325 yards and 17 TD. His backup is very good as well, Joseph Turner, in limited action, ran for 515 yards and five scores. At QB, they have sophomore Marcus Jackson. He had a decent season, passing for 2,293 yards, but threw for 19 touchdowns as well as interceptions. His receivers are good, in Donald Massey and Ervin Dickinson. Massey racked up 62 catches for 753 yards while scoring four times. Dickinson had 45 catches for 577 yards, but seven touchdowns. The defense is led by DE Tommy Blake. He played in only seven games due to injury but still had five sacks. Stephen Hodge had a great season at LB, with 59 tackles, but an even more impressive six interceptions. Overall, it's a solid team, but a team that Deon Sizzler and the Lightning should be able to handle.
