I never pre-order games and get them the day they come out...

Like Madden '08, my local gamestop didn't even have enough copies for the people who pre-ordered them and was given to those who ordered first. While the rest had to wait for the next shipment.

My buddies and I just went to our local wal*mart and waiting for 15 mins until midnight for them to start releasing them...15mins early and we were like 5th in line...

Same was done for Halo 2...

We'll get Halo 3 at midnight with waiting no longer than 30 mins...If you didn't pre-order just go to BestBuy or Wal*Mart or Target or anywhere they will sell the game but doesn't take pre-orders...Really easy.

Let's get some activity going in the Cleveland sub-forum!

does anything really have to have a reason? it just seem creepy, plus he was all like, u remember if u asked if i liked u or not, well it turns out i do. how the **** does it turn out, do u suck ur dick and realize, hmmm maybe i dont like this or what? it has nothing to do with Halo, but all to do with the amount of stupid people on Halo, its probably somewhere like 10% smart - 90% 10-13 years old

I just hope its not a disapointment like halo 2. That game got to far away from what made halo a great game, its simplicity. Dont get me wrong i enjoyed playing it, in fact its the only video game i have played in the last 5 years. But, give me a old pistol and a snip on HH or BG in halo 1, and you can count up a couple killing sprees. Head shotn' and dank nadn' chumps driving warthogs, three shot pistol kills, and perhaps a devious wack from behind. Man, I miss the real halo. 20 bucks says this one is the worst yet, I bet they will try and do to much with it.

What do the vikings and marijuana have in common? Every time you put them in a bowl
                they get smoked.

For me it's the multiplayer. Not since Goldeneye for the 64 have I been able to play hours on end with my friends and having fun every game. It's seems so simple but yet their is so much strategy involved in a simple game like Team Slayer. What really makes the game is the superior multiplayer level design, every level has so much hidden things to find, be it jumps or hiding places. It may not seem like that if you are just starting out playing the game but once you start to get better and master the levels it only get's more fun. The controls and just the way aiming feels is perfect. To me gaming is about having fun with a group of friends, it's about direct competition between two or more people. Halo is just able to deliver on all levels for me.

I can see why some people may not like it though. Some games just don't suit people. I've always hated other "amazing" games like KOTOR or Final Fantasy, or Zelda. Just no other game can eclipse the feeling I gewt by playing an hour or two of Halo

I'm not really sure if I'll get the game. I guess I'll just wait and see what everyone thinks of it first and then consider it after my exam period is finished.

Multiplayer. You have to play it alot to get obsessed with it because when your "skills" get very good, there is alot more to the game. I used to play the first one over the computer on Xboxconnect.com and it was the ****. You can get together with all your friends and stuff... It gets really competitive.I guess its difficult to explain, but i bet if you would have played it more you would have liked it much more.

From watching the memorial videos, it looks like master cheif might not make it in the end, my prediction was that he kills that brute cheif with the sticky grenade, but ends up dying as well, just my thoughts, tho. however i can garuntee anyone that multiplayer is def worth the price of admission alone. i got a copy of beta when it was out, and let just say, it was fing sweet, plus add in the map editor, play back vids, levels from halo 1 & 2 in there, an soo many new weapons i cant even keep track anymore, this game will be one tof the best of all time, Bungie made sure of that this time.

nothing competes with Golden Eye 64, cause when u play multiplayer, u can rub it in their face right then and their. Golden Eye was a perfect game

I wasn't pretty much every night a few summers ago at my friends house playing on there. Definitely the most fun I've had on a video game.

                            That is correct comahan

I would say that multiplayer is it's strength but still not comparable to some PC FPS. For console, it's nice to have the level playing field [where as ones tower specifications plays a role for PC gamers] and it's harder to hack...

The actual game has a good storyline that if you are really a gamer you beat the game then take it online...

I'll agree that most PC FPS are better than Halo.
