Thursday Nights (some on diffeernt times now but wtf) :
Burn Notice: Cinematography slicker than snot on a doorknob, superb 4-star detective/spy drama with edgy scripts, Bruce Campbell as sidekick Sam Axe is worth it alone.
CSI: Really really seriously went downhill after Wm. Petersen left & they killed off Warwick Brown, & Jerry Bruckheimer has used up all the major sexual perversions & topical social commentary in past episodes. Not even bringing back bucktoothed Jorja Fox, or max exposure of Marge Helgenberger's cleavage in spandex can save it.
Archer: Best animated satire using paper doll cutouts since South Park. Archer's one-liner retorts make me LMFAO weekly
Parks & Rec:
Parks and Rec is so god damn awful. Even the ******* commercials looks bad.
Community: Worth watching only for Joel (not Kevin you bozo) McHale & of course Chevy Chase doing his stock character of, well, himself.
30 Rock: Alec Baldwin, welcome back to the A List! Freaking hilarious scripts, Tina Fey is a goddamn genius! But like most us I want to strangle Tracy Morgan's obnoxious character
Psych: Meh. OK if you're loaded & won't remember it the next day.
Fringe: Former Thursday night hit moved to Monday to take on #1-ranked House, great paranoid plots & dark atmosphere from maestro JJ Abrams a la Fox's similar X-Files. John Noble as Dr. Bishop gets all the good lines & steals most episodes, Anna Torv is hot with a forehead large enough to land a 747. Glad to see Blair Brown again & the Leonard Nimoy cameos.
Royal Pains: Too shallow & fluffy to be a taken seriously medical doctor show, & with too many stereotypes. The skewering of the megarich a-holes in the Hamptons is spot on for the 2010 zeitgeist, with great supporting characters: big kudos to Campbell Scott (George C's son) as Boris the benefactor with a shark in his basement for cancer research.
Criminal Minds: Oh no! Not another hunting serial killers show with supermodel smokin' hottie FBI agents! Lola Glaudini only one for one yr, too bad (she was the ultrahot FBI agent in the Sopranos used as wiseguy bait), sorry they lost Mandy Patinkin but they have Joe Mantegna replacing him as the stock obsessive detective, Thomas Gibson's perpetual scowl seems disingenuous & botoxed-on, if he smiled his face would crack open.Last edited by LizardState; 03-12-2010, 11:16 AM.

And Parks and Rec is way too good for you people. It's better than Psych.
