  • HS Class of '08

Hey I was just curious to see who on the forum is in my graduating class, and what schools you all are applying to. Just wondering....

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm Tim Driscoll and I go to Kinnelon HS, a public school in Morris County, NJ with about 150 kids per class. I'm applying to Penn State, Rutgers, UDel, UConn, the Ohio State, Minnesota, Arizona State, and possibly a few more. I may also apply for nROTC and then that changes my list of colleges but as of now those are the schools I've applied/going to apply to.
Penn State University - Detroit Red Wings - New York Jets - Red Bull New York - Fulham FC

Kinnelon is nice, good lacrosse program. I don't understand why so many people on this forum go to out-of-state public schools. It may be around the same price to go to a smaller private school especially if you're doing ROTC.

I like it here, I play hockey not lax. Anyway I like the feel of the big state schools. Yes it may be cheaper, but I really am not a fan of the NJ small private schools, and some are pretty expensive. If I do ROTC my list of colleges drastically changes. You live in NJ? Are you in HS?

Yeah but everyone here knows you only pick a college based on the size of their football program

              A: jump off a bridge
B: go to Brookdale Community college & keep reaplying
              C: Become a hobo

right now, I'd lean toward C, but lets hope that doesnt happen

You should be like everyone else in Jersey and go to Towson or Maryland

i hate mrayland, they recently defeated Rutgers. Towson is ok. I actually havent visited any colleges, I'm solely focused on RU. needless to say, if i dont start looking around and somehow dont get in, I'm ****** more than a porn star.

Duke University, a lot of NJ kids used to go to New England for college.
