  • 24 postponed by writers strike

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21688956/

The writers strike has struck down the Fox thriller "24."
"24" is absent from the network's revised, strike-affected schedule for midseason. In its announcement, Fox explained the "Day 7" season for the series would be indefinitely postponed to ensure an uninterrupted run.
Like most series written by members of the Writers Guild of America, "24" is falling prey to a shortfall of scripts. But the heavily sequential, real-time "24" is dependent on a full-season run of 24 episodes.
Damnit...i was looking forward to season 7 as well. Guess we will have to wait until January 2009

Lost will either have a shortened season or a 'postponement.' Lost and 24 are my two favorites shows. This is devastating news to me.

Man eff this, 24 is my favorite show on TV, this is jacked up, dumb ass fat slob executive TV people. The season preview looked so damn good. This could be the end of 24 for all we know, I'm thinking 1-2 more seasons max.

I fully support this strike. TV and Movie Execs are taking all of the money from the new media and not letting the people who do the most work get a share of it.

        Fight on WGA, fight on.

I heard that every writer is going on strike. Is this true?

But for everyone reading this in Buffalo and Cleveland and everywhere else, take solace in the following: As crazy as it sounds, you're lucky. Your Mount Everest experience is still ahead of you. It's waiting, and it's glorious.- Bill Simmons

A few shows are non-union, like South Park, but in general this strike threatens all the major network television series. This thing could last for a while.

A DVD costs 60 cents to make and we sell them for $29. Do you know how much of a difference that is? Negative $13!

Instead when my son loses a tooth, he gets a quarter instead of a night with a hooker.

Instead of flying my private jet I'm going to have to fly FIRST CLASS

I hope they all get ass cancer and DIE!

Back to non-SNL blatter, as perfectly played by Fred, TV Execs are greedy, business-savvy bastards. Hopefully there are enough Sunnys and Offices to last me until SNL is back.
