  • Blu Ray vs HD DVD

I did a search and nothing at all came up. This thread shouldn't be long because Blu Ray is the winner.

yea, I've heard rumors that HD DVD's production has fallen because of the rising demand of Blu Ray...you can actually get an HD DVD on ebay for around 80 bucks...

Only bad thing is now Sony has no reason to drop the prices of the DVD's or players.

yea, I don't see Blu Ray coming down in price for another year or so...which sucks because I would ultimately just buy an HD DVD player for cheaper and get almost as good quality...

blockbuster is only going to have blu-ray...some production companies, like paramount I think, are only releasing in blu-ray, others only in HD...I have ps3, so blu-ray ftw!!

yea...I've been thinking about getting an HD DVD player....I just don't want to buy all these HD DVD's and have them go out of production...

Blu-Ray has the bigger capacity plus all the backing of the bigger end companies so it was bound to win sooner or later and in a year it shall.
