  • Austin Jackson has homers today and last night in his first two games in a major league ballpark (Miller Park), both off major league pitchers (Doug Davis and Dave Bush).

I find this promising given that everyone says he doesn't have enough power to ever compare to Granderson.

be careful throwing around the term "major league pitcher" when talking about Doug Davis and Dave Bush...

Jackson has enough power for stand up doubles and triples. Balls can happen to travel over the fence for a home run. He is strong enough to hit deep into opposite field. Jackson is much stronger than Granderson in that age. All he needs to hit for many home runs is pulling hard as Granderson has done.

        • 7 years for $38.5 mil if the Blue Jays use all 3 team options years for Adam Lind?? Not sure why he would agree to a deal for that amount, but hell of a good sign for the Blue Jays. Bargain.

now you control 3 more years if the team wants for $22.5 mil. If he's still the hitter he is now, unreal bargain. If he's not, 2 mil buyout and you cut your losses. I'm just blown away with how nice of a deal this is for the Jays when a guy like Markakis got $60mil+.

The Brian Sabean sig is no more. I disagreed with you on so many levels. And then you went out and built a dynasty. I am lame.
