        • Awful call but nothing can top Phil Cuzzi's gem last year.

Amen to that. I'm a Yankee fan and I felt genuinely bad for the Twins and their fans.

            • Somehow we always find a way to lose that game. I don't know why Gardenhire brought in Crain when all logical reason and statistics point to Swisher and Tex being much worse from the right side of the plate. Why not Fuentes there? Dumb. Probably cost us the series.

              • MLB needs to take baseball away from TBS. Anyone they have on there love the Yankees. They were like calling that blown call there near the end like it was the worst call ever. I don't like them and I still want the Twins to win, but my God, this is like the worst mental block ever in sports. Okay, maybe besides the whole 1908 thing BOOM! KICK THE CUBS WHILE THERE DOWN BOOM BANG BOOOOOOONG!

I can't really say they love the Yankees. On Tex's homerun they barely called it. Granted they did the same on the bases loaded walk, it was like it was any normal walk to them.

The broadcast team just sucks, they're not biased, they just suck.

                  • Forget the lack of emotion, what about the lack of etiquette? During the 5th inning on in the Halladay no hitter, they kept talking "no hitter" this and "no hitter" that. There was still a game going. They could be talking about how the Reds bullpen completely dominated the Phillies or how good Halladay was going, but you're never supposed to mention the No No. They did it 30-40 times. WTF?

Yeah, I prolly shoulda said other examples cuz I made it sound like I only hate TBS cuz they are BIAS. That might be like #3 or 4 on the list of their problems. #1: I love Conan as much as anyone, but my God, how many commercials do u gotta show? #2: The announcers are boring and as dude above me said they are unprofessional, EVERYONE knows that u don't talk about a no-hitter while its being thrown. Granted, Brian Anderson hasn't seen pitching the last two years: he announces for the Brewers. BOOM! Got the Cubs in my last post now I got the Brewers. Oh yeah, the Reds got no-hit yesterday. BOOM, got them now. Anyway I digress, TBS just sucks in general. The Pirates haven't had a winning season in like my lifetime BOOM! Got them. 1908 Got the Cubs BOOM! And well, I respect the Astros, so I won't say anything about them.

                        Halladay is unaffected by traditions.

Not because it's the Phillies, but I don't have any problem with it in a playoff broadcaster. You have to be able to clue a mass audience into what is going on, especially when it's something as rare/special as that.

And if any of this broadcaster bashing is being directed towards Ron Darling, hurl yourself off the nearest bridge because he is fantastic.

                          • Out of the 3 main sports, homefield advantage is the worst in baseball.

                            • I think that tbs needs to split broadcasting with someone else. Having 4 broadcast teams on the same network is way too many. As a result, you get crappy announcers. The way the NBA does it with TNT and ESPN works better, and same with the NFL.
                              Shields losing it here...

After the Reds were no-hit by the magnificent Roy Halladay in Game 1 of the NLDS, shortstop Orlando Cabrera gave credit to ... the home-plate umpire. Cabrera whined about ump John Hirschbeck's strike zone.

"Another umpire, he wouldn't have thrown like that," Cabrera told reporters. "He was getting every pitch. We had no chance. We had to swing."

Fitting that Brandon Phillips made the last out.
