      • Well I nominate Brodeur to start the new thread then since he has the most posts in this one.

          • So a friend of mine and I have been debating the infield of the Red Sox/Yanks
            What do you guys think. This is how we laid it out...

            Defense: both of us agreed
            Tex > AGonz
            Cano = Ped
            Scutaro > Jeter
            Youk > ARod

            Offense: me
            AGonz > Tex
            Cano > Pedi
            Scutaro = Jeter
            Youk barely >/= ARod (Youk slight advantage though with OPS advantage)

            Offense: friend

            Tex > AGonz
            Cano > Pedi
            Jeter > Scutaro
            Youk > ARod
            -Boston Red Sox-New England Patriots-Boston Celtics-

            • Milwaukee doesn't have a single player on Keith Law's top 100. We're going to be bad for awhile if this group of guys doesn't work out.

                Gonzalez has been a better defender than Tex for each of the past two seasons and Pedroia is definitely still better than Cano defensively, even though Cano improved a lot last year. Too early to tell between Youk and A-Rod. Youk hasn't been too great in his minimal starts at 3B over the past few years. Offensively, Jeter is still better than Scutaro.

                  You should be able to re-stock next year with the picks from losing Prince, or if you deal him midseason, you should get a big haul.
                  The Brian Sabean sig is no more. I disagreed with you on so many levels. And then you went out and built a dynasty. I am lame.

                    Yah, plus we have an extra first this year because we didn't sign Dylan Covey. If we're out of it by the all star break, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we blew the whole thing up.

                    • Weeks is a FA also so you can trade him at the deadline or get the 2 picks for him.

                        We should have something done with him before the season, I think he was waiting for Uggla to get done for a benchmark.

                        • If anyone has access to Keith Laws 100 and can tell me where the Jays prospects were ranked I would really appreciate it

                              Thank you. Kind of surprised to see Gose and Arencibia ranked so low to be honest and where the hell is Deck Mcguire. Other than it seems about right. How was the farm system ranked overall?

                              • He said in the chat that he doesn't believe Deck's ceiling is greater than that of a 4th starter, so he wouldn't include him in the top 10 Jays.
