        • Why didn't John Axford get any votes for ROY last year?

Jim Rice barely got in and it took him 15 years.

Guys from the 90's and 00's I'd put in over Edmonds.

            1) Barry Bonds
            2) Albert Pujols
            3) A-Rod
            4) Frank Thomas
            5) Jeff Bagwell
            6) Mark McGwire
            7) Ken Griffey Jr.
            8) Mike Piazza
            9) Rafael Palmiero
            10) Sammy Sosa
            11) Fred McGriff
            12) Jim Thome
            13) Eddie Murray (already in)
            14) Wade Boggs (already in)
            15) Tony Gwynn (already in)
            16) Paul Molitor (already in)
            17) Derek Jeter
            18) Ichiro
            19) Chipper Jones
            20) Manny Ramirez
            21) Gary Sheffield
            22) Vladimir Gurrero
            23) Carlos Delgado
            24) Larry Walker

Those are just the hitters, and that doesn't count players who still have a lot of career ahead of them.

            • Does Larry Walker have any shot of getting in? Would be nice to see another Canadian get in.

I still don't think Rice should have gotten in.

I don't think he gets in. Great player though.I would have loved to see what those Expos teams could have done even though they were in the same division as the Mets.

He was relatively old for a rookie and people apparently didn't realize he was so good. He didn't come close to Heyward or Posey anyway.

I didn't say he should win ROY. He should have received votes though. As for the age that hasn't stopped most of the writers voting for Japanese players.

Anyway Axford is really going to blow up this year. He'll be an All Star for sure this year.

Doesn't make it any less pathetic. HE WAS FEARED!

Dont agree with all of them but it is missing some Edgar Martinez!

(I wont even bring up the lack of Barry Larkin)
