  • Anyone else think the Brewers can be this years Reds (of 2010)? And since others are posting their team in here (I missed the draft). Yahoo public league - roto scoring.

    C-Brian McCann (Atl - C)
    1B-Mark Teixeira (NYY - 1B)
    2B-Aaron Hill (Tor - 2B)
    3B-Aramis Ramírez (ChC - 3B)
    SS-Reid Brignac (TB - 2B,SS)
    OF-Carlos González (Col - OF)
    OF-Nelson Cruz (Tex - OF)
    OF-Chris Young (Ari - OF)
    Util-Colby Rasmus (StL - OF)
    Util-Carlos Lee (Hou - 1B,OF)
    SP-Jon Lester (Bos - SP)
    SP-Wandy Rodríguez (Hou - SP)
    RP-Carlos Mármol (ChC - RP)
    RP-Jeremy Hellickson (TB - SP,RP)
    P-Ricky Romero (Tor - SP)
    P-Ted Lilly (LAD - SP)
    P-Madison Bumgarner (SF - SP)
P-Jorge De La Rosa (Col - SP)
    BN-Jason Kubel (Min - OF)
    BN-Alcides Escobar (KC - SS)
    BN-Ryan Doumit (Pit - C,OF)
    BN-Javier Vázquez (Fla - SP,RP)
    BN-Brandon League (Sea - RP)

Any ideas on who to try and get? Lineup changes I should make? I was thinking of dropping, Alcides Escobar for Johnny Peralta & trying to trade Ricky Romero because of the division he plays in.

    • I'm throwing my team out there too. Pretty impressed with what I got.
      10 team H2H standard 5x5 stats.

      C- Matt Weiters
      1B- Joey Votto
      2B- Martin Prado
      3B- Alex Rodriguez
      SS- Rafael Furcal
      OF- Matt Holliday
      OF- Justin Upton
      OF- Vladimir Guerrero
      UTIL-Casey McGehee
      UTIL- Rajai Davis

      DL- Kendrys Morales
      DL- Grady Sizemore

      SP- Josh Johnson
      SP- Justin Verlander
      SP- Mat Latos
      SP- Wandy Rodriguez
      SP- Jaime Garcia
      RP- John Axford
      RP- Drew Storen
      RP- Brandon Lyon

Drafted 2 DL guys, so need to pick up 2 more players, but what do you guys think? I think I'm pretty set, but I could deal one of my 3B for some extra pitching or maybe a middle infielder, since that's obviously a weakness.

          • My 25 man perdition for the Reds was wrong because Dontrelle Willis and Dave Shappelt was reassigned to the Minors. Which mean Fred Lewis will prolly make the final roster. Also Jeremy Hermida was too.

            • Mine was wrong because Pearce made it over Marte and JRod made it over Ciriaco. Oh well.

              • Twins just made a huge mistake by giving Atlanta Billy Bullock for Scott f'ing Diamond. This organization just hates pitchers that can strike people out.

                          • Kyle McClellan is replacing Adam Wainwright in the rotation.

                            His Spring stats:

                            5 Starts: 4-0, 0.78 ERA, 23.0 IP, 8 BB/16 Ks

Dave Duncan has been wanting him in the Rotation for a few years now, Bob Gibson compares him to himself. I can't wait to see what he's got as a starter, I've predicted 15 wins.
