  • HOF Numbers?

I am doing a franchise in MVP baseball 2005. I was thinking of keeping track of notable players who retire from this year (2013) until the end, and I want to know if Manny Ramirez has HOF numbers.

    Manny Ramirez, OF
    G- 2476
    hits- 2183
    AVG- .307
    HR- 570
    RBI's- 1808
    Runs- 1618
    SB- 36
    Age of retirement- 41

    Does Manny have HOF #'s?

Nah, you need at least 600 homeruns to make the HOF...

And only 4 guys have ever done that. Those numbers would put him 9th on the All-Time list, 1 ahead of Rafael Palmeiro (who would only not get in b/c of steroids). First ballot.

Right now, his numbers would get him some HOF consideration, but he is only going to add to these numbers making him no doubt HOFer.

With those numbers, yeah, first ballot. We'll have to see in real life though, it's the toughest hall to get into.

Not quite in John Olerud's league though.
