I don't think it's so much the actress as opposed to the fact that she's no longer the love interest. Now she's just the cute but extremely annoying political/hippie/feminist/know-it-all that everyone in college knows but hates.
I see where he's coming from. I don't like how Pierce has been stuck in a certain role for at least half of this season, and just seems to repeat it in the next episode. I'm surprised and a little disappointed that they've used the same frustration and characteristics in a bunch of recent episodes, especially as part of the main plot.
The best part about Renji's avatar is how Abed and Jeff are just staring at Annie's hands as she makes the pot haha.
And I just find Pierce annoying. He reminds me a ton of Michael Scott from The Office...it just seems like they're trying to hard with the character. He's more of a jackass this season...at least last season they tried to give him some underlying warmth. This go around he's just a douchebag.
