so you dont consider boxing, gymnastics and ice skating sports?
      no...
no as in you dont or no as in you do consider them sports. i can understand ice skating but boxing and gymnastics? come on
no i dont consider them "sports"

Is competitive cheerleading an activity that requires a whole lot of ability, time and effort?

            Definately.

Is it an activity that requires the entire team to work together and trust one another?

            Yes.

            Are there winners and losers?

            Of course.

            Is it a sport?

            No.

Competitive cheerleading is a competition , but not a sport. My little sister puts in at least 10 hours of practice per week, but even she doesn't consider it to be an actual 'sport.'

Ultimate Frisby is the best. We were playing that yesterday with some of the sororites and the girls swim team. It was the "shirts" vs. the "skins" so all of the girls on that team were in their bras and shorts. One of the girls had the craziest tan I have ever seen. She is a swimmer and I guess tans with her one piece suit on because her legs were tan and then there was one big cirlce on her back that was tan as well.

Competition cheerleading? I guess it is since they compete. My sister used to do cheerleading and it required no athletic ability at all, you just had to be good at pretending to do pushups.
