No, WCW was not better then WWF.

There were WAY too many egos in WCW, and that caused a lot of great storylines and matches to be ruined.

I can't think of a single great match (ala Hart vs. Michaels, Hart vs. Austin, Mankind vs. Undertaker) that took place in WCW.

Top stars in WCW refused to lose without interference.

I also can't think of a single rivalry in WCW that even came close to Hart vs. Austin or even Austin vs. McMahon.

Another thing about WCW that I never liked is there were absolutely no promotions within the organization.

Hogan, Luger, Sting, Flair, Savage and later Nash and Hart were the main-eventers, the rest of the wrestlers couldn't get past mid-card status.

In WWF, there were guys getting pushed almost every year.

          So was I.

There were MANY talented wrestlers in WCW, but they never got their push until they went to WWF.

          • I wonder what the damn title match is gonna be at the PPV.. It'd be cool if it was Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho, with Jericho winning the belt, of course.. But that probably won't happen because he's likely the Save_Us guy.

It's too bad that Orton will probably walk out the champ.. I really do hate that guy.

            • WCW was money in their cruiserweight division. Other than that..eh..

              • WWE.com has a poll on who you want(that's on Raw) to be champ, and they should really listen to the fans choice on whom they want as champ.

And yes, Val Venis is infact winning the poll and should be champion.

Yeah, why is he the jobber of jobbers now? He had a lot of potential, I thought. Sort of a Rick Rude-type character.

                      • From what I've heard, hes actually turned down a lot of big pushes because he didn't want the extra work load and thought younger guys should get a chance.

He is like a 3rd string NFL QB making a good amount of money to work very little and be around the buisness he loves.. its a win win

                          • batista wins----world heavyweight champion

beginning of night orton named wwe champion; triple h asks for title shot, gets it defeats orton

triple then has to defend against umaga; triple h wins

orton asks for a rematch; gets one in a last man standing match; orton wins and is new wwe champion

                            • What a lame PPV. I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

There were like..2 good matches. That 6 man tag match was pretty solid, and the last man standing was pretty good too. The rest was garbage.
