      • You also missed a Sweet 16 pick. Ohio State is a ballsy call as well...

Actually, he's on the Mavericks and is playing 3-8 minutes a game backing up Dirk Diggler...

I'm a GW alum and superfan, so I'm a huge Pops booster. Also of note, Mike Hall, who graduated with Pops last season, just signed another 10-day contract to stay on the Wizards' active roster.

He was born and raised in England, but he discovered basketball around age 14. He got a scholarship to a prep school in New Jersey, where he developed a small portion of his game. Karl Hobbs got him to come to GW in the ridiculous recruiting class of Omar Williams (NBADL), Mike Hall (NBA), Pops Mensa-Bonsu (NBA), and Alex Kireev (Ukranian pro).

                    • Wisconsin is overrated, no way they make a Final Four.

                        • Agreed. They rely heavily on Tucker. I love their team, but I don't think they're capable of winning 6 in a row.

Kireev was crap at GDub. Too bad JR Pinnock got cut by the Lake after being drafted cause he was really good in summer league, as for GW's chances of getting pass the first round and longer isn't that great. Carl Elliot who is an idiot for even considering leaving early last year is a solid defender and distributor but his shooting is pretty bad and he isn't very athletic. Maureece Rice is an electric scorer but he is a hold cold shooter. Koundija sp? has improved a little but can't be counted on to have a consistent impact while Dokun is solid. I really like Diggs and King though. Probably out of all the DC area teams in the tourney GW is least likely to make noise, but I do love coach Carl.

Butch being injured is really hurting. Our other big men aren't much on offense and have very limited range. Butch can stretch their defense and we've really been missing that. Chappel is wide open but he just sits out there because he can't make the long ball.
