Well i'm going to have to disagree with you and say that Kansas State will beat Mason.

      • It's kinda scary thinking that even after they lose Hibbert this year, Georgetown might even be better next year. Dajuan Summers is a sophomore but could be a first rounder next year, but I think he stays. Vernon Macklin is another 3/4 like Summers who is destined to be a future first rounder. Macklin was a top 10 recruit last year out of high school. His game resembles a more explosive Jeff Green. Jessie Sapp a starter on last years final 4 team who is a crafty scorer will be back next year. Jeremiah Rivers will only be a Junior next year and will likely start at PG. Freshman this year and two McDonalds all americans Austin Freeman and Chris Wright will only be Sophomores next year. Freeman is capable of scoring 20 ppg in college, and Wright is capable of being a 15+5 guy or better. Then comes in the insane recruiting class which has to be considered at least top 2 in the nation. They land Greg Monroe the #1 prospect in 08, likely a 1 year player he is the next "Kevin Garnett" as we like to label those guys. They also get Henry Sims one of the best defensive players in this recruiting class, to go along with top 5 Virginia recruits, uber athletic PF Chris Braswell, tweener guard Jason Clark. They could realistically have 5-7 first rounders from 2009-2012, with Monroe likely going top 5.

Illinois State is 3-0 going into friday's game against Indiana. I don't think we will win this game, but I could see the Redbirds making a game of it and causing a scare in Bloomington, IN.
Haven't gotten to see ISU play this year. If you've got some good shooters, then I think you definitely have a shot. IU's on-ball defense can be weak at times and obviously mid-majors that can shoot the 3 are always dangerous. I'll be extremely happy when Ratliff is back.

Levi Dyer Led the MVC last year in 3point %. Osiris Eldridge is coming off a 30 point performance with 5 of 6 from behind the arc. Plus, Dom Johnson, Holloway, and Holtz all can hit consistently behind the arc.

The key for Indiana is to be up big in the first half as ISU has been very strong in the 2nd half.

Thanks to BoneKrusher Credit and Rep to him for the sig.

                    • ISU just isn't in the same league as Indiana. Yea I know anyone can beat anyone but I just don't see it happening. Jankovich has ISU on the up and up though. Nice guy too!

Well, IU has played MUCH better in the 2nd half then they have in the 1st also.

Talking about IU, obviously Eric Gordon is getting all the attention and deservingly so, but he isn't the only IU freshman that has been impressive. Jordan Crawford looks like an absolute stud.

                        • i was listening to ESPNRADIO and they were talking about Derrick Rose and how he won MVP in a tourney, and he just gave the trophy to the trainer and said, put this somewhere, i dont deserve it.
Great teammate there acknowledging that his teammate did better and he doesnt deserve that award
