I believe Chaney was here at Temple this weekend as well.

        • Chris Lofton scored 61 in a Turkish league game.

          Hit 17 three's, 17-22 from deep... Wow.

Yea, I don't see how he didn't make it in the NBA, his shot is absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah. He was a pretty damn good player.

I agree with both of you. Did he even get a look by an NBA team?

                  • I'm not surprised he didn't get an NBA shot. He sucked his last year although he had his secret illness. He could shoot lights out but the fact is that he is short, weak, slow, no point guard skills, and can't elevate on his jump shot. He's basically a nasty set shot shooter who can shoot with the best of them, but beyond that he isn't much. He wouldn't be able to create or even get his shot off in the NBA.

He'd be the equivalent of a Damon Jones, someone who could get some time and hit the three.

Damon Jones though has better overall footspeed and can definitely create for himself and others better. Additionally Damon Jones only stayed in the league so long because it's nice to have that cheerleader at the end of the bench. There are plenty of great college shooters who don't stand a chance in the NBA because they lack the physical requirements and overall skills. For example Shan Foster.

                          • Yeah, Lofton would get destroyed on defense.

Awesome college player, I dislike Tennessee but have always had a ton of respect for him.

                            • Markus Kennedy, a 2010 big guy, will commit to Villanova tomorrow per Adam Zagoria. Looks like it purely came down to 'Nova being closer to home for him.
