  • People, get your **** straight. No one gives a **** about Kentucky. You know why? Because the best they're going to do next year is second in the country.

    Game, set, match...bitches.

    • No offense to the Fab 5 but with the the steady improvement in the high school game over the past 15 years, a top 40 recruit now could have had a shot at top 10 back then

Solid but that is asking a lot of Wall and Cousins in year one. They will definitely be a Final Four contender. We'll see.
Wall and Cousins would normally be NBA 1st rounders right now so I don't think it's hard for them to compete at a high level in college basketball right away

Thats a good point SK, and I totally agree with you there. Orton in particular is a very good player in the 20's that I think could def be ranked higher in the past. Bledsoe as well.

It will more than likely be...

PG - John Wall | Eric Bledsoe
SG - Jodie Meeks | Darnell Dodson
Wing - Darius Miller | Jon Hood | Ramon Harris
PF - Patrick Patterson | Matthew Pilgrim
                C - DeMarcus Cousins | Daniel Orton

Miller and Dodson will battle for a starting spot as well as Cousins and Orton.

There could also be sets of 2 PG's, Meeks, Miller and Patterson or one of the other big men.

We're no doubt young but I don't see how we're really any different than OSU in '06. They had some good seniors (ours are better) and our recruits are up to par with them.

                          • Florida is probably going back to the NIT again. Says a lot that Donovan is even messing with Lance Stephenson at this point.

                              • I think Lance Stephenson will sign with Maryland. Just a guess but his HS teammate (James Padgett) is headed there and a lot of people have been talking up the Under Armour connection. I don't think he will go to Arizona.
