In your opinion, what is the best college/university in America?

I really had to narrow my list down a lot because I couldn't make a poll with as many options as I wanted. Here's the full list:

went with harvard thats one prestigious law school i wonder what the average needed to get in

All their schools are prestigious, except maybe the football school.

I personally went with Stanford because of the combination of athletics, academics and arts.

This is also beneficial to me, since this basically is the group of colleges I'm hoping to go to.

I've always wanted to go to Stanford, but now my list goes as follows (in order)

What have other people heard about Brown? I've heard that you either love it or hate it.

Southern Illinois University!! That's where I'm going to college. So they get my vote. :D

University of Maryland is the best college there is, syke its probably Loyola College (Maryland Campus) its filled with smart kids especially girls that like to party and how can you fault that i cant.

Not quite as athletic as Stanford, and they don't have Cali girls.

Princeton is the hardest to get into. Where i used to go to HS, Highland Park is ranked #15 HS in the nation, and the #1 guy got rejected.
