Best Coaching Staff

Ive gotta go McCarthy and Green Bay.
Took us from 4-12 to 8-8 to 13-3, and with relativly unknown players.

But McCarthy and Co needs to prove they can do it without brett, or even if we still had Brett, that last year was more than a one year wonder.

Crazy_Chris 05-09-2008 02:06 PM

I don't know about this one I agree with what you said about McCarthy and Co proving. Eh this one is a toughy I am just gonna go with the Pack by default.

neko4 05-09-2008 02:11 PM

I think it comes down to mike and lovie.
Childress and Marrinelli could prove me wrong though.

umphrey 05-09-2008 03:34 PM

Childress and Marinelli are average coaches, that won't really improve much IMO.

Gotta go with NFC pro bowl coach and (I believe) #2 in coach of the year voting for McCarthy, though I have respect for Lovie.

Went with the Pack because of what they have been doing. They have set systems, and they stick with it, where the Bears have hot-cold offenses where we will either be pass happy or have a balance. The Bears coaches dont scheme (Carolina playoffs 2005 season vs Steve Smith), they just keep the same system, and try to get better players.

Brothgar 05-09-2008 06:06 PM

I'm going with Rod he is slowly turning this team around.

regoob2 05-09-2008 07:05 PM

I went with the Pack on this, I really like what they do.

asmitty45 05-09-2008 08:54 PM

GB, mccarthy has done nothing but good since he got to GB so ill give it to him.

Green Bay Wins!

johbur 06-03-2008 11:39 PM

Mike or Lovie. Lovie or Mike. Well, considering Lovie dragged the Bears to the Super Bowl with Rex Grossman at QB, I have to give it to him. Mike McCarthy used his force of will to bring Brett Favre to the best year he'd had this decade and was on the precipice of the Super Bowl, but I doidn't like him all bundled up in the cold. The Giants might have been a team on a mission, but with some better playcalling and a defensive adjustment, GB would have been i the SB, so Lovie gets my vote.

fondoffilm 07-16-2008 11:22 PM

Doesn't it say coaching staff, not head coach?

bearsfan_51 07-31-2008 04:28 PM

Pfft....gimme a break. Mike McCarthy decided that he was going to throw the ball 800 times against the Giants, completely abandoning their run game, and essentially giving the game away.

Lovie Smith is 6-2 versus the Packers, 3-1 versus McCarthy. He has made a Superbowl. He has won the division twice. The fact that McCarthy is actually winning just shows how presentist everyone on this board is.

Or the fact that the packers fan outnumber every other teams fans by a lot around here. :P

What are you trying to say???

By the way your sig is ********

Gay Ork Wang 08-01-2008 04:42 PM

he meant that everyone is only talking about the HC and not about the OC or DC and so on

e.g. u only talk about Mike Tomlin but not Dick LeBeau

SFbear 08-02-2008 03:29 PM

If this is actually coaching staffs, Ron Turner should make us lose by default.

Kid_Ego 04-09-2009 05:48 PM

The Pack Had a running back this year?
The Vikings had receivers?
The Bears had anything besides Forte?
and The lions play speaks for itself
Why are we even asking this question? Im not sure youd have a coaching staff if you combined all 4 teams.
well maybe......
No prolly not
