Will The Lions Win A Game?
I think the Lions will win there first game of the year Sunday. What do you guys think?

princefielder28 12-26-2008 09:36 PM

The Packers are not THAT bad

Trivia 12-26-2008 09:45 PM

The Packers aren't that trash... But i voted Lions anyway so i could make fun of my brother.

Xiomera 12-26-2008 09:47 PM

I'm picking Detroit!

I've been predicting a win over GB for a couple weeks now. I was much more confident in my guess before the New Orleans game though, hahahaha.

MetSox17 12-26-2008 09:50 PM

The Lions looked pretty horrendous last week. At first i thought they had a chance to win a game, but no, they've shredded every last hope for football fans out there that they just might not be the biggest embarrassment in all of sports. It should be an easy win for the Cheeseheads.

yo123 12-26-2008 09:56 PM

I find very little reason to believe that the Lions are going to win in Lambeau for the first time in 17 years with their worst team ever.

Zyro_1014 12-26-2008 09:58 PM

No way the Pack should lose this game, the GB has been playing poorly but not bad enough to lose to the Lions lol.

The Dynasty 12-26-2008 11:09 PM

I would love to see it but I dont see it happening...Havent won in Green Bay since 1991, that is a long time drought.

BmoreBlackByrdz 12-26-2008 11:43 PM

Not this game, but I don't think they are the worst. They could probably easily beat Cleveland.

RaiderNation 12-26-2008 11:49 PM

They will lose by 13

JeffSamardzijaIRISH 12-27-2008 12:02 AM

Wow 10 votes for the Lions?

MaxV 12-27-2008 12:03 AM

I'll be rooting for them.

But I do think they'll make history.

Menardo75 12-27-2008 12:34 AM

I think the Lions will finally get one.

Notredameleo 12-27-2008 12:35 AM

As much as I would love for the only win to come against the packers, because I hate them with a passion, I dont think its going to happen!

Boston 12-27-2008 12:45 AM

Well, that certainly would be the cherry on top of a year full of wonderful Sundae's.

TimD 12-27-2008 12:48 AM

voted packers but i hope the lions

steelersfan43 12-27-2008 01:22 AM

I hope. It would probably make brett favre feel better about himself too.

MichaelJordanEberle (sabf) 12-27-2008 01:24 AM

Hmm. On one hand I'd love to see it happen. It would be a card we'd all hold over every Packers fan. But, I would like to see history, kinda like I wanted to see 19-0 last year just to say I saw it.

Brent 12-27-2008 01:52 AM

they arent that good to begin with and I think it's supposed to snow.

Jvig43 12-27-2008 02:24 AM

I really hope the Lions win this last one. No team deserves to go 0-16 unless your team is owned by Al Davis. Then I could care less

CashmoneyDrew 12-27-2008 02:42 AM

I picked Lions in my week 17 pick 'em.

PackerLegend 12-27-2008 03:39 AM

If the Lions did pull a miracle which I doubt it would be no different then the Ravens letting the Dolphins win 1 last year. Its getting hyped up because its week 17 and a rivalry (not really, nothing like vs Vikings, Bears). Bottom line is the Ravens are the team that saved the Dolphins from 0-16, like others have as well. Week 14 or 17 makes no difference.

giantsfan 12-27-2008 03:54 AM

The lions will keep it close on a cold day and win the fourth quarter at which many fans will start to mob trying to lynch mike mccarthy and aaron rodgers as the rationale fans get pissed at an oline and dline that failed to push around these lions.

Brett Favre would start touching himself if the lions won.

diabsoule 12-27-2008 04:19 AM

I really do not think they will win this year and make history in doing it. And it's really sad to see a proud franchise fall this far. And really, it shouldn't be like this but because of an idiotic owner and stupid personnel decisions by the front office they've fallen to the depths previously unexplored by any NFL franchise. It's really, really sad.

I've been tossing this around in my head and am wondering which franchise is in worse shape when it comes to the front office: Detroit or Oakland?
