Superbowl curse

And it strikes again, its just like the NFC South last finisher is destined to make the playoffs(adapted for atlanta finishing second). It must be said though that the pats didnt play bad or anything but that just shows the power of the curse. To go 11 and 5 and miss out. To lose the nfl mvp in the very beginning of the season. To lose a whole bunch of key players during the season.
Believe in the curse!

There was that year the Pats won two super bowls back to back. No such thing as a curse.

Congratulations. You completely missed the meaning of this thread. The curse applies to teams that lose the superbowl.

totally agree

and i thought the curse was in effect from week 1 when Tom Brady went down. Though, the pats played well this season and are a playoff caliber team. just bad luck

And now this because I used some capital letters to end a statement in the same manner you did.

This is the planet earth. It does not revolve around you.

There's no point in arguing whether a hangover does or does not exist because it certainly does. It doesn't mean that there aren't exceptions to the rule. There's a lot of extenuating circumstances in football.
