About the Uniforms...
 

Hello, I come from the Packers board with a particular question concerning your present uniform design- actually it's more of an idea/suggestion.

Take your helmet and reverse the colors- instead of a green helmet and silver wings, make it a silver helmet and green wings. Don't you think that makes for a better helmet?

I could go on further with the fact that your darkening of the green dulled the overall appearance of your uni despite the 'improvements' in Helmet decal and Number Text, and that you diminished silver to the point where it couldn't provide a decent 'accent' to properly mesh with your dark green... but the helmet colors are my primary concern to you.

Let's just say if I had the choice, I'd pick the Color Palletts from BEFORE '96.

Personally it doesn't matter what they're wearing to me, as long as it isn't that yellow and blue catastrophe, haha.

Owie. Lemme guess, you're one of those guys that thinks making the colors darker darker DARKER makes the players look more like manly men as opposed to boys. Granted, that's a major plagaraization and probably very untrue to what you're really feeling about the subject.

But being serious for a moment, what you're meaning is any team that uses yellow as anything more than lining someplace- like fully coloring the helmet and/or pants yellow- looks like a joke. The problem is you're associating a team's 'scariness' with the uniform appearance.

The Raiders have a scary look- silver and black pretty much says 'Bad to the Bone', but these days could you really look at the Raiders and think of them as anything but a mismanaged joke? Probably not, because you know deep down that they are mismanaged and rebuilding and that if you simply keep your head screwed on straight you'll have a win.

The point I'm trying to make is, it's the performance of the ballclub that makes the uniform fearsome, not the other way around. Beyond that, it's all artistic aesthetic.

As you should be, by now, I'm sure the entire Swedish army has surrounded your house. My bet is they plan to make a swift extrication, strip you of your clothes and will paint you mainly yellow, with baby blue "accents" on certain parts of your anatomy...

I know, in a sad way I didn't want the team to do that good so we wouldn't have a reason to wear them again. But remember, they were playing the Lions...

If they decide to bring back old school it should only be the Kelly Green Unis, now those were sweet.

The Yellow and Blue aren't even ethe eagles they are part of some other franchis, went belly up, and then a new franchise opened in Philadelphia and wore those ugly color for 1 season the first one.

I grew up in the 90's and I loved those Kelly green unis. I wish they would wear them again. heck, if Tampa can wear there throwbavks, we should as well.
