Where will Lavar end up?

Is there any word where Lavar will end up next year?

'cuse-213 03-05-2007 09:58 PM

I'm also wondering why hes not being talked about at all.

PACKmanN 03-05-2007 10:06 PM

i bet he will be in SD or SF who ever doesnt get Proter.

HoopsDemon12 03-05-2007 10:07 PM

I think the fact that he hasnt been a consistent playmaker may scare some teams off. But i am actualyl surprised there has been nothing about him, hes still a good linebacker its not like he's washed up by any means just not that playmaker the redskins spent that draft pick on a few years back. If he were somehow to end up on buffalo's soster next season i'll tell you one thing, i wouldnt be mad=)

Wherever he plans to retire.

He is gonna sign a contract in DC and retire a skin

BuckNaked 03-05-2007 10:15 PM

He'll end up watching games from his sofa next year.

JoeMontainya 03-05-2007 10:16 PM

It would be cool if the Browns got him to play SLB.

Give him a really small contract that has tons of incentives that he would have to reach in order to make the money he wants. if he gets hurt, its noones loss.

ricky bobby 03-05-2007 10:19 PM

He'll end up on IR.

HoopsDemon12 03-05-2007 10:20 PM

I know for sure he's definatly 100% not heading to San Deigo...thats as absurd as porter suiting up in the baby blue uni's.... they need middle backers not pass rushing guys

I think the team that dosent land porter will take lavar. Watch for the Bengals who need a LB.

Grizzlegom 03-05-2007 11:07 PM

i honestly think hes done...if he plays again it will be on the east coast though.

21ST 03-05-2007 11:10 PM

He said he is going to retire a skin and sign a 1 day contract

DeathbyStat 03-05-2007 11:19 PM

On a couch retired.

Do you have an article? I think he should stick around and try again.

PackerMang 03-06-2007 11:34 AM

I wouldn't be suprised to see the packers try and snag him. They were very close last year and our LB corps need another OLB to be great (IMO poppinga can be upgraded)

bigbluedefense 03-06-2007 11:35 AM

Guys let it go. His career is over. I liked the guy, its sad to see it happen to him.

TheChampIsHere 03-06-2007 01:22 PM

his injury has teams staying away from him. I would say maybe he gets signed at the last second like Ty Law did if he can show teams hes ready to play.

I would. Hes looking for a place to settle and retire. Count Gb out.

D-Unit 03-06-2007 03:30 PM

He'll play somewhere in the NFL next year and suprise some folks.

scottyboy 03-06-2007 03:54 PM

im not so sure D-Unit. too many injuries all around the knee/lower leg. poor guy, wouldve been great. I think it's just gonna be too hard for him to go through training camp. After being teammates with tiki for a year, and hearing how tiki wants to walk away still in tact, lavar may do the same thing. You can only take so many leg surgeries

Shiver 03-06-2007 03:57 PM

I remember last year, when I saw that Achilles injury against the 'Boys, I posted that his career was OVER. I still believe that. That '00 draft sure wasn't a good one at the top.

skinzzfan25 03-06-2007 05:02 PM

If he kept his mouth shut, he could have stayed in Washington. Oh well, good riddance.
