Better 2nd Year Player?

Who do you think has played the best in there sophomore year in the league?

Tim Hightower - 102 Carries, 430 Yards, 4.2 YPC, 5 TD, 2 Fumbles Lost, 47 Receptions, 343 Yards, 7.3 AVG

Calais Campbell - 34 Tackles, 3.5 Sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie - 30 Tackles, 3 INT, 1 FF, 1 TD, 13 PD

most of these stats seem wrong, CC should have more Sacks and FF and DRC more PDs

Voted for Campbell but am suprised to see Hightower is averaging over 4 ypc. He was struggling a bit earlier in the year but I think alot of the running games woes comes from not fully commiting to the run.

Side note - Apparently Hightower is our back up kicker and has hit one from 55 yards at flagstaff.

My vote is for Campbell. I don't recall him being on the field as much as THT or DRC last season, but he seems so solid this year. The number of times I've seen him muscle up close enough to bring pressure to the QB and get his long arms up to distrupt passing lanes isn't reflected in those stats. He whiffed on a few sack chances too, particularly early in the season, but here was there creating pressure. The guy is a presence on the front and defences need to account for him.

In DRCs defence, watching the game on TV you don't really see how well a CB is covering unless the ball is thrown in that area. He does seem to have moments where he fades in and out of games mentally. Extremely talented though.

Hightower for the most part has been a reliable presence, early drops aside. Pass blocking and receiving have been more a revelation for me this season, than his running. He's become a solid all-round back, is running more angry and I like the combo we've seen lately with him and Beanie. The concerns of how the Cards would go with a rookie and 1 year starter after releasing Edge have been put to rest. THT gives us as much on the field as Edge did last year. And with Beanie's star on the rise, we're starting to put together a run game (props to the O-line for the gaps too).

really nice to see people noticing the play of Campbell so far, expected most of the votes to go to DRC

He obviously won't be voted into the Probowl(no Cardinals ever are) but do you think he could be a coaches pick(if we aren't in the Superbowl)
