2010 Colts Draft(5 rounds)
-Indy selects DT Brian Price, UCLA(Price would give the Colts an over the top edge on the DL and would make this pass rush and run defense almost unblockable. We also might be losing Brock so it makes sense to add another player at DL. I would even be fine with trading up a little if we had to in order to get Price.)
2nd round- OG/RT Vladimir Ducassee(It is about time we add a force on the OL. I know we usually dont draft big at OL, but we desperately need a better push in the running game, and Ducassee will help with that.) 3rd round- MLB Pat Angerer(Gives us a potential replacement just in case Brackett leaves. Even if Brackett stays, Angerer could split reps with Brackett to keep both fresh.) 4th round- Best OT available 5th round- WR Jacoby Ford(Gives us a good return guy as well as developmental WR who could turn into a great deep burner for us.) |
My 5 rounds
Top of 2nd : Jon Asamoah, OG, Illinois (I see him taken with BP trading down a bit getting an extra 4th)
Round 2 : Lamar Houston, DT, Texas Round 3 : Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State Round 4 : (extra pick) Darryl Sharpton, ILB, Miami Round 4 : Jimmy Graham, TE, Miami Round 5: Jermaine Cunningham, DE, Florida |
Ducassee would be a fine pick.
He's a guy who can start at OG from day 1 and then later take over RT position when Diem is done. |
