Penn State is in very good shape with Savon Huggins, Ben Koyack, Terrell Chestnut, Maika Polamalu, Sheldon Royster, Jameel Poteat, and a few others. 2011 is a small class for Penn State. I heard anywhere between 12-16 scholis are open.

Westerman is a stud.

BigJohn98 02-03-2010 11:01 PM

Texas will probably have 28 commitments for 2011 tomorrow.

Dagagad 02-03-2010 11:01 PM

LSU should have a great class next year.

Must be nice to not have to break a sweat over recruiting.

RB - Mike Bellamy
WR - Sammy Watkins
WR - Rashad Greene
DT - Timmy Jernigan
DE - Curt Maggit
LB - James Wilder Jr.

All most likely Gators if things ended today. And that's solely from the state of FL.

Pick one. You're being a little selfish with the talent-hogging.

It'd be fun to not have to raid Georgia for half our class every year.

But hey, we got two Tennesseans this past class. That's gonna be tough to beat.

Don't worry. We're also running in the lead for Christian Lemay if I can read him right. He grew up in Gainesville, and our only competition is the Noles. And I believe one of the quotes from him said something along the lines of "I'd watch the Noles if the Gators weren't on". :P

Looking forward to another good year of recruiting.

And UT, you guys already have a great one in Jabriel Washington. Well, whenever he commits.

P-L 02-03-2010 11:53 PM

What happened with Clinton-Dix? He was a heavy 'Bama lean just a few weeks ago.

Wishful thinking, but are we in good shape for Lawrence Thomas?

I've read Rutgers has a good relationship with Huggins as well. This is a very strong year for NJ recruits.

BTW, one of the posters on VN made a thread listing ESPNU's 150 for next year.

The good news is Tennessee has 7 HS players in the pre-emptive 150.

The bad news is 4 of them are from Memphis. FML.

draftguru151 02-04-2010 05:45 AM

Teddy Bridgewater to the U or I'll ban every last one of you.

I think Ohio State has a better chance with DePriest than they did with Jordan Hicks in 2010.

Braxton Miller seems like a lock at this point.

Probably Michigan State. Dantonio is going to have to try to lose this kid.

keylime_5 02-04-2010 07:20 AM

Lawrence Thomas is a Michigan State lean. OSU is probably #2 and he hasn't visited us yet. Not getting hopes up.

DePriest likes Alabama a lot. Him and B.Miller grew up as good friends, would like to go to school together but aren't a package deal. He has family in Alabama and his visit there probably put Bama in the lead right now...but his mother wants him to stay close to home it sounds like and Miller is gonna go to Ohio State eventually.

Ray Hamilton from Strongsville. Probably the top TE in Ohio. If OSU gets Koyack they're probably not offering anymore TEs.
