AJ Green suspended 4 games...

"AJ apparently sold his Independence Bowl Jersey to an AGENT."

How does this affect his draft status with Julio, Baldwin, and Floyd all playing?

Nalej 09-08-2010 04:51 PM

wow! Does that do anything to his draft stock?

Maybe a little but I doubt it. Dude's a beast

Shane P. Hallam 09-08-2010 04:53 PM

I don't think it shows much of a character concern. If he comes back and keeps his play up, it may not affect him much.

tjsunstein 09-08-2010 04:56 PM

I have a feeling NFL teams will brush it off as nothing when he comes back and then continues to dominate in the events leading to the draft.

Scotty D 09-08-2010 04:58 PM

How does he get 4 games but Dez gets a whole year?

Still the best in my opinion. He will just have to step it up once he gets back on that grind.

CashmoneyDrew 09-08-2010 05:00 PM

Is there some other source for this? Cause David Pollack is an idiot.

ESPN also reports it.

How in the world could Green possibly think this wasn't a violation???

Maybe he just didn't care.

It's usually never a matter of knowing, but instead a matter of caring or thinking you'll get caught.

Others take a suitcase full of cash and they fly under the radar. Give me 11 A.J. Greens i'll take them all.

FUNBUNCHER 09-08-2010 07:06 PM

I bet that agent paid four figures for Green's jersey!!lol
Still BS though.

Smooth Criminal 09-08-2010 08:18 PM

I like the current crackdowns. Hopefully players learn they can't get away with clear violations.

RealityCheck 09-08-2010 09:12 PM

Will do no harm to his stock.
But I wonder what the hell is wrong with that. The NCAA is looking like the freaking army.

No kidding. At least be subtle about ****, Jesus Christ.

No doubt Green is a very talented WR, but I don't put him quite in the same class as Calvin Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald. I think there are some minor, but legit durability and character questions. I've seen mocks that have him going #1 overall, but I don't buy it.

Shut your ***** mouth about St. Pollack

CashmoneyDrew 09-09-2010 02:14 AM

He's a mongoloid that has no business being in television.

FuzzyGopher 09-09-2010 02:18 AM

What's with the sudden influx of high caliber players being suspended lately? I can't remember a time when this many guys were being forced to sit out. It could potentially make the pre-draft process a lot more interesting with guys having less game film and blemishes on their records.

Brodeur 09-09-2010 03:11 PM

God the NCAA is getting ridiculous.

Why because they are enforcing rules? Don't sell memorabilia while you are in school for money. Is that such a hard think to understand?

I don't even see why that is a rule. What the **** does it matter to the NCAA? I know they're massive assholes who refuse to let anyone else make any money, but still.

I agree the rule is stupid to an extent. But them enforcing it is not. Though why did he get 4 while the Bama DL got 2.
