Week 8 Discussion Thread

Sunday
Washington @ Detroit
Jacksonville @ Dallas
Miami @ Cincinnati
Buffalo @ Kansas City
Carolina @ St. Louis
Denver @ San Francisco
Green Bay @ NY Jets
Tennessee @ San Diego
Tampa Bay @ Arizona
Minnesota @ New England
Seattle @ Oakland
Pittsburgh @ New Orleans

Monday
Houston @ Indianapolis

First of three straight prime time games for the Steelers. New Orleans is a struggling bunch. If Pittsburgh can run well, I think they win this game pretty easily. The game is at NO and they just got embarrassed, so I can see them coming out pissed off and taking over. But without Thomas and Bush, I don't think they'll be able to run at all, making Brees vulnerable.

I thought Dallas at home vs J-Ville was going to be a breeze, with Kitna it's a pick 'em.

I'm a bit worried about this game against the Bills. They've had some fight. I'm afraid we'll lay down on this one.

Troy Smith magic... coming soon!

I don't think you have much to worry about, I have a feeling the Saints are going to get slaughtered this Sunday. The Home field advantage just isn't there for us, and this Offense has played 1 solid game all season.

Welcome to the beginning of the Lions playoff run.

I concur.

The Lions are not dead yet.

Bob Sanders Dreadlock 10-27-2010 05:18 PM

Troy Smith to Ted Ginn!

Jvig43 10-27-2010 05:19 PM

So mad I may miss the Pats/Vikes game. I'm worried about it.

vikes_28 10-27-2010 05:19 PM

Vikings are ******.

No joke with Stafford back I can easily see you guys winning by 2 TD's. Really I highly doubt we can stop Megatron and we also give up the most receptions to RB's so Best could have a huge day. I just don't think our offense is equipt to win a shoot out which it will undoubtedly become. Our only chance to win the game like all of our other games is to force turnovers, either than or injure the other teams best player.

Eben Britton - season ending shoulder surgery. FML.

New Orleans played against Tampa after getting embarrassed by Max Hall and Arizona.

Still think the Steelers are likely to win, should be much tougher then if the Saints beat the Browns.

I love how you think.

Giantsfan1080 10-27-2010 08:51 PM

Bye week blues for me.

619 10-27-2010 09:00 PM

I'd love to have a bye week right now. Get my boy Murph all rested and back into the lineup.

I'm gonna miss you this week, Lou. :'(

OMG yes plz.

I've got Freeman holding the fort at QB for me for one more week (till Vick gets back), and I'm giving Blount the start at RB with Michael Turner out. I'm all aboard the TB bandwagon right now.

Haha! You won't regret it, Blount is a man on a mission!

Wow. When it rains it pours.

wogitalia 10-28-2010 02:33 AM

The thing I see most in that video is how beastly the Tampa FB was on the majority of those runs! He is just blowing people backwards!

RaiderNation 10-28-2010 02:34 AM

Huge week for the Raiders. Play a team that we should beat after winning a big game last week.

HawkeyeFan 10-28-2010 02:40 AM

Watching that video reminds me why I'm a firm believer in the fact that Atogwe is overpaid, and overrated.

Also, worst tackling, by far, that I've seen St. Louis do this season.
