2011 Nike Pro Combat Unis
Pretty nice. These include Stanford, Ohio State, LSU and Michigan State. Post pictures of other new ones this year if you'd like.

I actually hate the LSU and Ohio State ones. The Stanford and Michigan St. ones at least generally work. The striped undershirt makes the Stanford one look worse that it actually is. I hope players just avoid the undershirt.
Full set of Stanford gear: |
Ohio State ones are ok I guess. I like Navy's a lot
|
I dig the LSU stuff. Don't have a read on OSU yet. Don't think that I like the wide striped helmets.
|
I like Navy's a bunch. I didn't think LSU was the weird. Maybe I didn't get a good look but they seemed pretty subdued compared to the others. I hated Georgia, Stanford, and Ohio State
|
they are all terrible, and oregon's werent "pro combat"
|
The Sparty ones are god awful.
I generally don't mind these, and even like it when schools that don't have black in their colors add the black. But the Sparty ones are awful. Gold helmet with green sparty? Ok, Notre Dame throwback wannabe. The rest of the uniform makes them look like Baylor. Casual fans are going to see the MSU playing and ask why Baylor is on the TV. The Sparty uniforms would have been much better if they made the helmets black, and the numbers black with white outline, and other white accents. There is no reason for the gold, and it just looks stupid. |
I like Army and Navy's the most, and don't have a problem with LSU or MSU. They all have the clean modern look without too much going on. Stanford's is kind of sick but Ohio State's is terrible. I think the glove work is starting to become overdone.

Also agree that the glove thing has jumped the old shark. |
I rank them like this:
1. Stanford 2. Navy 3. Boise State 4. LSU 5. Army 6. Georgia 7. Ohio State 8. Michigan State |
