Not a great week of games, but I'm looking forward to Michigan-Michigan State.

JeffSamardzijaIRISH 10-13-2011 12:28 AM

I'm gonna be at Cal-USC, hopefully us bears can put up a fight!

niel89 10-13-2011 02:42 AM

Stanford is about to slay some Cougars like they're a pool boy.

SolidGold 10-13-2011 09:15 AM

Looking forward to Mich - Mich St, watching Luck do work, A&M -Baylor and AZ St - Oregon.

If AZ St's defense can dictate that game I think they have a shot. Oregon's whole gimmick is just to run plays quickly to gas the opposing defense. I am not sure if James will play or not but if Oregon get's hit hard/early and often I think Az St has a chance.

Sadly, this game looks like its going to go along way to determining if OSU is even bowl eligible. Illinois, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Michigan remaining, its quite possible we'll see this team get 4 more losses.

tjsunstein 10-13-2011 01:26 PM

How many points will Oklahoma stick on Kansas? I'm going 65.

When is the last time Ohio State hasn't made a bowl?

I'm an SC fan and I'm telling you Cal has a REAL GOOD chance tonight.

As long as they can contain Robert Woods.

I dont have a clue. Its gotta be a pretty long time though. I'll bother looking it up if we lose this weekend.

bearsfan_51 10-13-2011 02:36 PM

The Big Ten used to only have one bowl game (Rose Bowl) not that long ago, so it's probably more recent than you think.

When was the last time they had a losing record? 1988. They were 6-6 in 1999 (wikipedia folks, not that hard :)

Edit: It was 1999. Interesting note about that year: they lost to both Miami and Illinois.

I like Cal's odds a lot tonight as long as their playmakers step it up. I want to see a big game from Allen on offense and Kendricks on defense. I know it's kind of a cop out thing to say but it's the only chance Cal has. Kendricks played very well in the first half of the Oregon game.

SickwithIt1010 10-13-2011 04:06 PM

Lee and Woods will step up tonight for SC.

49erNation85 10-13-2011 05:05 PM

so it sounds like the game tonight will be worth watching , yes or no?

For at least a quarter.

Punisher 10-13-2011 05:37 PM

Yes, tonight's game will be worth watching. Especially if your draft fanatic like we know you all are.

diabsoule 10-13-2011 05:44 PM

Outside of the LSU/Tennessee game there are only two games I care to watch:
#11 Michigan vs #23 Michigan State
#20 Baylor vs #21 Texas A&M

49erNation85 10-13-2011 05:51 PM

Who should I keep an eye on tonight besides Barkley?

Well for USC atleast...

WR Marqise Lee FR - 1-2nd rounder when he comes out

OT Matt Kalil - 1st rounder

C Khaled Holmes - Mid-Late rounder when he comes out

DE Nick Perry - 2nd-3rd rounder

DT Dajohn Harris - 2nd-3rd rounder

S T.J. McDonald - Mid rounder

bored of education 10-13-2011 08:28 PM

Easy TD there for AF. A couple drops by SDSU on some nice balls throws by Lindley. He has such a nice arm but some his WRs have struggled with drops all year.

bored of education 10-13-2011 08:30 PM

Ronnie Hillman is a stud.

ElectricEye 10-13-2011 09:05 PM

Keenan Allen is kind of good.

edit: Great timing for me there.

Matthew Jones 10-13-2011 09:06 PM

That was a perfect throw.

49erNation85 10-13-2011 09:07 PM

yup nice pass/catch there for usc.

ElectricEye 10-13-2011 09:08 PM

Yeah, great placement and timing there for Barkley. It'll be interesting to see how Farmer does tonight at as a runner. Cal looks like they're closing well early.
