Vaylor 03-09-2012 10:58 PM

Holy ****. Three years $58.3 million dollar extension.

Da-Phins 03-09-2012 11:01 PM

LOL thats hilarious....

Sounds like a Ross type move. "oh hi we're sorry we wanted to replace you, here's an extension to makes things better"

Thank you Tebow!

vidae 03-09-2012 11:12 PM

Christ, what are you doin Jets?

A Perfect Score 03-09-2012 11:13 PM

Mark Sanchez was their backup plan to Peyton. That's sad.

Hurricanes25 03-09-2012 11:14 PM

I don't understand this move at all. It just makes no sense to me. If he was to have a good 2012 season, then fine, but before the season? I'm shocked.

Giving the division to the Patriots!

Scotty D 03-09-2012 11:14 PM

Its probably filled with funny money.

Basileus777 03-09-2012 11:15 PM

Utter insanity. Sanchez is a marginal starter at QB. They should keep him since there isn't an obvious candidate to replace him with yet, but there was no need to pay him this.

TitanHope 03-09-2012 11:19 PM

Shirley you can't be serious.

LTgiants 03-09-2012 11:19 PM

I am going to use smilies to try and sum up my reaction to the Jets stupidity so here it goes.

diabsoule 03-09-2012 11:21 PM

Mark Sanchez will make roughly $2 million more than Aaron Rodgers next year.

Brodeur 03-09-2012 11:21 PM

Jesus Christ Jets, way to make it insanely hard to re-sign Stafford at a reasonable price. My god.

That makes it sound 100x worse than it already is...

BaLLiN 03-09-2012 11:24 PM

Better hope Schotty was the problem and not Sanchez

dunagan15 03-09-2012 11:33 PM

Bert Macklin 03-09-2012 11:33 PM

Wow this might be worse than the RG3 trade lol.

Brodeur 03-09-2012 11:34 PM

Apparently it lowers Sanchez's cap number for this year.

zachsaints52 03-09-2012 11:35 PM

Flacco wants top 5 money no it doesn't. The ravens will be stupid to pay that much anyway.
