Top 2012 Undrafted Free Agent Prospects

Like usual many talent athletes get passed over in the draft process. Here are a few players that stood out to me that did not get their names called and could be top priority free agents real soon.

DaJohn Harris, USC

I'd like to see us picking up Moore and I'd love seeing him beat Hoyer for the third string.

Anybody know of good websites to track FA action besides twitter?

Unbiased 04-28-2012 07:45 PM

I usually use NFL or ESPN.com free agent tracker, and it says new and old business in the NFL, who got signed or brought in, usually NFL.com has a good list and all the teams.

Totally agree, Thomas was a fine safety and a very promising prospect. Coverage was not the issue, tackling might have been though.

Spaceboy1 04-28-2012 08:04 PM

Patrick Edwards, WR from Houston.

junior2430 04-28-2012 08:04 PM

Carmen Messina signed with Detroit

Some Wisconsin guys who'll get invited:
CB Antonio Fenelus...not surprised he wasn't drafted, short and not fast enough, but he was a great CB for UW.

FS Aaron Henry...surprised he wasn't drafted in the late rounds, he'll be a priority for teams.

DE/OLB Louis Nzegwu...UW's version of workout warrior, not very productive but incredibly athletic.

RT Josh Oglesby...top rated OT coming out of high school, slowed down by many many surgeries. Still a big man and beast of a run blocker.

K Philip Welch...strong leg, lots of success at the collegiate level, weakness is kickoffs.

DT/DE Patrick Butrymn...he may get a camp invite, but I'd be surprised if he makes it in the league.

TE Jake Byrne...may get a camp invite, could carve out a niche for run blocking and he is just good enough as a receiver to maybe catch on somewhere.

Really feel horrible for Owusu. He was poised for a real big year if he was able to stay healthy. Every time I've seen Stanford the past few years he's really stood out...as well as take a crushing blow to the head. He's got the worst luck I've ever seen with regards to that. If the medical is clean(and Mayock said it was), I really want to see the Patriots bring him in. Seems like a good culture fit here and he brings a lot of return value to the table too. I'm still very interested in seeing what kind of receiver he can be at the next level too.

GaMeTiMe 04-28-2012 08:12 PM

Plenty of movement already..Cliff Harris to PHI, Janzen Jackson to NYG, Charles Brown to BAL, Ryan Steed to NYJ, Jacquies Smith to MIA...

Brodeur 04-28-2012 08:18 PM

Eww, Detroit signs Kellen Moore.

Notredameleo 04-28-2012 08:19 PM

So you guys now have the QB with the strongest arm in the league, and the QB with the weakest arm. Makes sense.
