The indoor field looks awesome. Why do they need iPads by their lockers though? Seems kinda like a waste of money. Weightroom is nothing special, but it looks nice enough. The building itself is pretty nice.

For when they walk potential recruits through on tours.

This.

Stanford has the same thing.

CashmoneyDrew 08-22-2012 07:05 PM

Tennessee's new facilities are pretty sweet as well. I'll post pics when it's completed fully in December.

SickwithIt1010 08-22-2012 07:15 PM

Yeah, one of my friends who is playing at SC said that the playbooks are uploaded into the Ipads and they have each day's practice schedules as well. 100+ million dollar facilities, damn.

gator3guy 08-22-2012 08:17 PM

I can't believe I played a division 1 sport...smh.

D-Unit 08-22-2012 08:39 PM

USC is pure greatness.

You're right, maybe they were thinking 100 for the original price. They might of caught a break ;)

tjsunstein 08-23-2012 11:53 AM

Holy F, thats incredible. Definitely a nice pitch for recruits, which is what it boils down to.

SickwithIt1010 08-23-2012 01:54 PM

Well it seems like almost everyone has a state of the art facility like that these days...SC's facilities were actually falling off a little bit, they needed it.

JRTPlaya21 08-23-2012 02:14 PM

That underground field could become troublesome if your QB bombs a pass too high though.

I doubt they'll be throwing 50 yard passes in there. Looks like a good place for smaller drills that we see at the combine. Everything else can be worked on outside in the beautiful SC weather.

SickwithIt1010 08-23-2012 02:22 PM

The underground field is mainly used for walk through's and what not and like TJ said, they do some testing sometimes down there because its right next to the weight room.

niel89 08-23-2012 09:27 PM

Very nice facilities. Can't hurt your pitch haha

I don't actually see them using that practice field for passing and such. It's probably more used for sprints and other work outs. The yards just make it easily measured out.

keylime_5 08-23-2012 09:46 PM

very cool....but i agree that the ceiling on the underground field looks way too low....no kicking/punting down there and no lollipop passes!

See my post.

keylime_5 08-24-2012 09:56 AM

haha, yeah, that makes sense considering it's only part of a field if you look closer.
