"Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, died Saturday, weeks after heart surgery and days after his 82nd birthday."

Lived a full life for sure. Rest in peace to an icon.

They'll need to dig two graves, one for him and one for his undoubtedly massive balls.

Ness 08-25-2012 04:19 PM

I guess he...finally took the giant leap.

Sorry, I was just trying to be an asshole like some folks here when a person dies. Wasn't really an awesome experience. Rest in peace Neil.

Few men have left footprints that I can honestly say that I would like to leave mine next to. This man was a member of that select club.

Amen, brother.

An American icon. He lived 20 minutes away from me and hated the publicity. He did his job (one not many of us could have) and never asked for recognition. His legacy will never die. RIP.

@anthonyjeselnik Bad week to be an Armstrong.

"I am, and ever will be, a white-socks, pocket-protector, nerdy engineer -- born under the second law of thermodynamics, steeped in the steam tables, in love with free-body diagrams, transformed by Laplace, and propelled by compressible flow." - Neil Armstrong

Armstrong was a nerd's nerd. An engineer-pilot-astronaut who became the first person to walk on another celestial body. We're basically talking about a science fiction hero who lived in real life.

R.I.P Neil Armstrong.
