Short and sweet version of the story is that the student-manager for USC deflated a significant portion of USC's game balls after they passed inspection before the game. According to the story, all of these were fixed by halftime.

Is this a story?

This reminds me of the Jets coach who tripped that player running up the sideline. He took the fall for it and was never heard from again.

Hey, Urban may be a raging jackass, but he's OSU's jackass. For at least another 2 seasons. And yes, I don't really like Urban "Hyperbole" Meyer but he's one hell of a coach.

I see no way in hell he'd have an equipment manager deflate balls and then fire him for it. Kiffin is a douchebag.

Yes because you know it was Kiffen that made him do it. For all we know Barkley or the receivers asked him to do that.

SEC levels of cheating? We just pay for players. Once we get them we just beat people. We don't pull **** like this.

I might be alone here, but I don't see why we have to assume Kiffin was involved. There are a whole bunch of possible explanations for this that don't include him.

Nothing, but it seems odd to just assume he's involved when there's nothing to link him to it, and it's something simple enough that anyone could have planned.
